Blade: Astra Superior Stainless (1)
Post-shave: Lucky Tiger Face Tonic / Sorrento Post Shave Balm

3 pass BBS + Touchups. SOB wax issues with the blade posted in the other thread. Sorrento PS balm swaps the base notes and the top notes of the soap around adding extra dimension to the shave scent experience. Really like this PS Balm.

First use of ADP so had to pair it with the favourite razor and blade of course. I only used a tiny amount, less than I use with any other soap I have because I was hoping a little would go a long way considering how expensive it is. It didn't disappoint, I quickly had twice as much lather as I needed. It didn't feel as thick and slick as some just between my fingertips but the performance was excellent so I have no complaints. The scent is light but very nice, with just a very slight touch of menthol. I'm glad I got it, it's a nice addition to the collection that I look forward to using again.

Hit the sweet spot with CG_Lvl2_Gen1 and it did not disappoint. Was considering how much profit I could make on resale, but rewarded with a single pass BBS, so she's a keeper

A mixed bag of a shave it today. Opening the Lavanille puck I was a bit disappointed not to smell vanilla and lavender as the sole scents, but I guess I should of expected that from these complex B&M scents. Off the puck I didn’t like or hate the scent, more of a meh!!! But once lathered this really changed, cant really put my finger on it but I certainly smelt the aniseed which blended well with the other scents. Performance of the soap was top notch as expected from the Excelsior base.

The synthetic brush gave me an excellent lather but was a very non inspirational way of getting there, I really love the Matilda but will not use it with this brown soap.

The nacets in this razor I did not like at all, not sure if it is a bad batch or they are not suited for this razor. Ended up with a very close shave and with no weepers or razor burn but it was a rough feeling shave, will give these a go in a few other razors so we’ll see.

The Son of Zeus splash smells incredible, I have taken quite a liking to the razorock splashes.. they are awesome.

@Razor Burn just a small friendly question and let not go overboard about wax dots, okay.

Have the Gillette Silver Blue change from four pain in the butt down to two or four very small wax dots, because, I've still got the old four pain the butt. Could you please provide photo's if possible and post them into this topic (
Do you like wax dots on razorblades or not - tell us why) the reason I'm asking is I'm about to order 50 blades of GSB soon. Thank you.
