Brush: Graydog Arizona Mesquite 28mm Maggard SHD fan
Razor: Rocca V4 R96
Blade: Gillette Nacet (1)
Soap: Shaver Heaven Noir
Bowl: Rover from Artisan Arcade
Pre: Shower
Post: RR New York A/S splash // Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm
WTG, XTG, ATG = BBS

First shave with the Nacet and it definitely felt sharper on my face but still comfortable and smooth, except XTG which was a bit harsh. I prefer the grip & balance from the R94 more but find the black handle looks nice. Great performance from the soap with a mild pleasant scent...

Wishing you Great Health & Happy Shaves!

Soap: Pb The Blue Tansy
Brush: Semogue 1305
Razor: GC 0.84P
Blade: Euromax (1)
AS: APR Fougere Trois
Went looking for Gillette Yellows in my stash and found some tucks of Euromax. Good but not as efficient as the Feather. Couple of very minor weepers to get BBS.
Later I found a tuck of Gillette Yellows so will try one Wednesday.

Warm water ,Mitchell's body soap
Plissoft
34c + Polsilver brown..2
Otoko soap
Truefitt Sandalwood balm
34c never fails to bring a stupid grin to my face, followed by face rubbing for the next hour, accompanied by eye rolling from the lady wife
N.b. these brown Polsilvers are great, but not Astra beaters

If you love black tea this soap is a must!! @gar sorry I thought I had yellow 7Oclocks just cos the package was yellow, but as you can see they turned out to be BIC Chrome Platinum so apologies cant give you my thoughts on them as promised.. but as for these blades, they were ok, reasonably smooth but not sharp enough to buy any.

The Bic Chromes are supposed to be as sharp as the Feathers and cheap as chips! As an avid tea drinker I really need to get myself a tub of this soap...

They are def not as sharp as feathers, don’t think they get to polsilvers either but I did maybe rush the shave.. will try this blade again this week and reconfirm

Your gonna love this soap.. black tea full on.. you should also try B&M Cheshire that scent is a very good take on Earl Grey tea, so good 👍

Not a problem, it was just a thought. Seems the people who like them REALLY like them, while for others they can be a bit meh. For me, they're a fantastic partner for the GC-JAWS, and great with my tungsten carbide whiskers. Never tried the BICs, though I know I've got a tuck in my drawer...

I had a tub of Cheshire a few months ago, which I bought on the strength of B&M's take on Earl Grey. I failed to read the ingredients list, so the inclusion of patchouli wasn't a pleasant surprise. Pity, since if they'd left that out, it would have been a desert island soap. Even though I'm a teetotaller: totally don't drink tea. I'm a coffee man.

Pre-shave:- Hot Shower

Soap/Cream:- Squadron Soap - The Empire

Blade:- Gillette - Stainless (6)

2 pass + touchups = DFS+. Well after 2 weeks wait, and a verbal blasting ( I ordered and was sent the same time as the others) Aus post finally decided to deliver. Shocking service Australia Post(n).

Interesting scent. Can pick out most of the scent notes. Honestly reminds me of baby powder. Not for a date night, ok for late night shave.

I can certainly feel the blade more when using the Nacet and at the same time the shave feels somewhat harsh XTG. I prefer the Polsilvers but also look forawrd to testing some different blades to see how they go. Scent & performance is top notch and the boar managed to produce some creamy yoghurt in the Rover bowl..

Wishing you Good Health & Happy Shaves!

I believe they get sharper as the shaves go on, as opposed to Feathers that smooth out... YMMV :)
