Soap: Barrister and Mann Terror
Blade: Astra SP
Brush: Simpsons M7 Manchurian
Balm: B&M Terror
Razor: Blackland Tradere OC

that was just an exquisite shave. 3 passes for a wonderful cool feeling.
Great to see you enjoying the shaves as the Tradere is one nice looking razor! (y)

Pre: Hot water
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: No Name Chinese (Tyrael?) (1)
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow Pony
Soap: Mystic Water Jeff's Lavender
Post: Stirling Bergamot Lavender EDT

These blades aren't perfect, but they're cheap enough for me to flick them after the second day. I can't get to day 3 using any blade, DE or SE without some tugging, and I've decided life's too short to put up with that. This soap, however, IS perfect. Not quite as intense as Castle Forbes (my benchmark lavender), but more complex. This is what Michelle says about it:

"I first made this soap as a favor for a good customer and it has become my own obsession to continue improving it to make it the best lavender soap that I can create. I use a generous amount of my best Bulgarian lavender essential oil, blended with French lavender and accented with lavender absolute."

As another Lavender lover I need to get some of this into my den.

Glad you kept the razor now ?

Just needed to find the razor and blade combo that works for you.(y)

Just beautiful, the scent is fantastic and made it even more enjoyable to take my time with this one. I'm getting quite comfortable with this razor although still working on technique and grip for a couple of awkward spots which is the only reason I can't give the shave 5 stars.

Razor: Rocca V4 R96
Blade: Astra SS Blue (1)
Soap: AP Reserve Fresca
Bowl: Rover from Artisan Arcade
Pre: Shower
Post: AP Reserve Lavioletta A/S splash // Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm

A much better shave with the Astra Blue than the Nacet but still not as smooth or close as a Wizamet. Strange as I feel the blade more in the R96 than any time when using the R94...? If only @Mark1966 didn't jinx me then I'd have my R95 already instead of it stuck with AusFarce's sorting facility in Sydney!!! :banghead:
Happy Shaves!

RAZOR: Comoy of London 6/8
CREAM: Proraso Red
BRUSH: Zenith 208 with Maggard's Best Badger knot
STROP: Black beauty double sided hanging leather

It's a rainy day today but I'm warm and have had a great shave. That Maggard knot captures so much cream I could have done 3 passes off it without any trouble.

Soap/Cream: APR / Noble Otter TEXAUS shaving soap
Razor: Muhle Rocca Birch Bark Handle
Blade: Polsiver 'Brown' (4)
Post-shave: APR / Noble Otter TEXAUS splash

Travelling today, first flight in 241 days. Not the same, most of the fun gone out of it, just a drag :(

At least the shave this morning was good.
