Brush: TF Customs Clear/Black/Yellow 26mm 2 Band Finest
Razor: Rocca V4 R96
Blade: Astra SS Blue (3)
Soap: RR Moroccan Secret
Bowl: Rover from Artisan Arcade
Pre: Shower
Post: Nivea 2 phase A/S lotion & Sensitive Post Shave Balm
WTG, ATG + Touchups = DFS

A much better shave limiting the number of passes as the blade felt smoother and no irritation but far off the efficiency I expect from the Rocca.

Brush: TF Customs Clear/Black/Yellow 26mm 2 Band Finest
Razor: Rocca V4 R95
Blade: Wizamet SI (1)
Soap: RR Moroccan Secret
Bowl: Rover from Artisan Arcade
Pre: Shower
Post: Alum block // Nivea 2 phase A/S lotion & Sensitive Post Shave Balm
WTG, XTG, ATG = BBS

I was suspicious that the R95 would feel slippery when wet but man was I wrong as this thing is super grippy! The shave was buttery smooth, very close and no irritation, barring the accidental nick on the adams apple. Its safe to say I have cured my RAD and look forward to adding some more Wizamets as this combo is hard to beat!!!

Wishing you Good Health & Happy Shaves!

Pre: WarmShower
Razor: JAWS
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: 2-Band Silvertip Badger
Soap: MdC Argumes
Post: Essential Oil of Lime Splash

So decided to get out the old Jaws for a run on two days growth. WTG was amazing, cut through like butter and smooth as silk.. didn’t go as well after that, nothing like the smoothness of the Rocca so I reckon this razor will only be pulled out again for one WTG pass on anything with 2 days growth of more and then let the Rocca finish the job

Very happy with the MdC and paired beautifully with the Lime splash for a whole lot of citrus goodness

@klinker , did you ever try the Fine plastic slant? If so, curious what you thought of it and is it the same as the metal version?

Blade: Astra Blue (4)
Soap: CELLA Organic - thanks @tullfan

Post: Nivea 2 phase A/S Lotion & Sensitive Post Shave Balm
WTG, XTG, ATG = DFS

I'm starting to see why I stopped using Astra Blues as the only seem to perform best in milder razors and the 0.50mm plate is far from mild...

Wishing you a productive working week!!! Happy Shaves :)

BRUSH: Jack the Barber Synthetic knot

I didn't bother blooming the soap prior to lathering, the synthetic knot gets the suds flying within 3 swirls. Oh la la!

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Yaqi Moka Express Mew Brown
Soap/Cream: Citrus Verde (South Florida Wet Shavers special)
Razor: RazoRrock Game Changer .84p
Blade: Gillette "The Spoiler" (2)
Post-shave: Thayers Witch Hazel - Pinaud Clubman Musk
Fragrance: Jovan Musk

Received this soap and the blades from Tim; many thanks. I was very impressed with the Spoiler on first shave, and my impression was only reinforced on the second. A very smooth shave paired with the GC, not quite as efficient as some razors but a good benchmark to test a new blade in. DFS+ without trying hard.

Soap: Ub63
Brush: Omega 10083
Razor: Dart
Blade: Bolzano (1)
Post: Calendula Balm
Bolzano not as comfortable as the Dorco but still a very good shave (BBS). That steep angle does the trick @Razor Burn .
The Dart would not be a daily shaver for me. Demands too much attention, but I will enjoy getting it out for the occasional run.

Delighted to see you getting along with the Dart! Its amazing what difference the angle can make as well as certain blades... Happy Shaves! (y)

Pre-shave: Hot water
Brush: Forgotten Art "Tarkine" 26mm Tuxedo
Soap/Cream: WK Chypre Rose Concerto
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Feather Professional Super (3)
Post-shave: TND Witch Hazel, Nivea Men balm

The picture is the best part of today's shave. Foolishly decided to persist with a blade that's already seen out two shaves (face and noggin), and it was tugging from the start. Then Mrs Gargravarr decided that was a good time to bale me up, chattering in my ear about projects she wants done. DFS-- only.

Pre-shave:- Hot Shower
Brush:- TF Customs - Mallee Burl Hybrid Holographic + Chameleon with 30mm Rhodium
Soap/Cream:- Declaration Grooming - Massacre of the Innocents
Razor:- Muhle - Rocca R94
Blade:- Gillette - Stainless (10)
Post Shave:- Declaration Grooming - Massacre of the Innocents-

2 pass WTG + touchups = DFS+. Another enjoyable shave. In over a decade of full time wetshaving, I never thought I would see double digits out of a blade. Thumbs up Gillette Stainless. (y)

Soap Profile, Top notes: cinnamon and pepper wood. Heart: osmanthus, tobacco leaf, labdanum and incense. Base: vanilla, cedar, vetiver, patchouli, iso e super, cypriol and musk. Another nice DG soap and splash. Scent strength is light to medium. Again everything just blends in. The cinnamon is not excessive, the vanilla I think ties the whole scent together with the other ingredients adding highlights and doing their part. Patchouli again is extremely light and not noticable. The scent is masculine and mild. Most likely suitable as a colder weather scent, though the vanilla makes it fine for spring use. As this is a milder scent profile, you could pair it with almost anything, woods, tobacco being preferable.

TF customs brush with a long name and a 30mm Rhodium. One word OUTSTANDING. Both brush and knot are exceptional. The feel is just luxury. @Srdjan is on a winner with these Rhodium knots. (y) They are without a doubt the best badger knots I have ever used. Paired with a TF Cutoms brush handle for the ultimate collaboration.

The 30mm is a fairly beastly knot and larger and more dense than any other 30mm synthetic knot I have or tried. Face feel is luxurious and soft by badger knot standards. The density of the soft badger hair knot gives that feeling of luxury that no synthetic can compare too. Even a 30mm motherload although extremely soft lacks the density, nostalgia and luxury of a natural badger knot.

Malle Burl Hybrid Holographic + Chameleon is one hell of a handle. There is an extreme amount of work that goes into producing one of these brushes. Each piece of Malle Burl is machine detailed and cleaned before stabilisation. The Malle Burl requires a stabilisation process which TF customs has perfected before it can be cast. This ensures rhe structural integrity of the timber component of the brush can stand up to future moisture expansion and contraction. The malle burl is now ready to be cast with the TF customs resin binding process which creates a casting part timber, part resin.

That's only about 50% done. Then the casting, shaping, multiple stages of sanding and polishing, buffing, followed by the final stage of the actual brush fit. This work is defiantly a labour of love, and passion for the work. The monetary value to produce just 1 brush by itself would out way the cost to produce.
Pictures of the brush don't do it justice as it's hard to capture the ever changing detail contained inside the handle. Light changes the colour and reflection of the resin with the burl backdrop. To try and explain in words, its like looking at an underwater cavern at dusk with lights turned on and every little fine sea creature reflects in the light that passes over it.

If one was to pamper themselves with just one luxury brush to have, this brush would be the one !

Great to see you enjoying your new hybrid brush. I admire your patience and judging by the picture @Tony Forsyth has managed to create a truly magical custom shaving brush! I absolutely love my Rhodium knots by @Srdjan as they perform exceptionally! Happy Shaves :)
