I'd be interested to hear a couple of other opinions re Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge Yellow; it's a recent introduction to my den, and IMO it compares favorably with both Polsilver/Wizamet and Nacet, but it doesn't feature much in SOTDs, with the exception of @klinker's...

I liked them enough to save the paper as a reminder that they were good enough to get again. I had a few from some samples kindly provided when I grabbed some soap from an ebay sale. I pretty much now exclusively use feather blades for the few DE shaves I have.

A wonderful scent, the Polsilver is giving the Astra SP a run for it's money in the Apollo providing a single pass DFS+ on 2 days growth @ day 6
Googled lathering TOBS to see what is out there and found this guy. I like his technique, unfortunately he stopped after 2 videos. May have got sick of the Galahs making negative comments

1 pass WTG + touchups = DFS+. Another enjoyable shave. Gillette Stainless felt better than yesterdays shave, and that felt good.

The Watchman soap and splash. Scent strength is medium for the soap and light to medium for the splash. This an interesting scent. I would describe it as a dark earthy aquatic scent. Off the puck it smells dark, with an earthiness, hints of berries, vanilla, some light floral, saltiness, and possibly coconut. Some people may be turned off by the puck smell, but wait until you lather up. Oh yes Top notes of berry, light floral, vanilla, earthiness, saltiness, on the dry down the berries become more prominent. The splash is a little brighter and brings more berry, floral, and vanilla to the table. This is a cologne worthy scent !

It's definately a Masculine, scent is unique, I have not smelt another aquatic like this. It is at the total opposite end of the spectrum to say Squadron Empire.

Would pair well with any aquatic fragrance

A definate thumbs up from me.

Took your advice, and have been blade flipping, with a hand strop in between. As soon as the effciency drops, time to change for me.

The previous wizamet was still was still fairly smooth, the effciency dropped off significantly so I retired that blade.

I love this soap, so fresh and cold. I think that Will nailed the description for this one. The Supply performed very well again, with a DFS after two passes. I experimented today in going with the splash and then the balm. It did not work. For me, the balm has worked best when applied to damp skin. Note to self though, do not touch the eyes after using the balm. My eye is still stinging an hour later.​
