Still enjoying my outing with the Vector. This is the razor I might run into a burning building to save, I just love it. Chances are it would survive the flames anyway. The WK is nearly gone...

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: TF Customs - custom 24mm 2 band finest.
Soap/Cream: PAA - Garden of Bali (ck6)
Razor: Muhle - Rocca R94
Blade: Gillette Stainless (25)
Post-shave: PAA - Garden of Bali AS Cologne / Nivea Men - Deep Moisturiser

2 pass WTG XT + touchupw = DFS+. 25 Shaves on the blade and no sign of giving in. Still smooth and efficient. I bet as soon as I use a new DE blade and razor I will see blood.. That lifetime supply sure cost me, will be worth it If I continue to have shaves like this. Now what to do with the cough more than 10k cough other blades ).

The soap Garden of Bali. Scent strength medium for the puck and strong for the AS Cologne. Scent notes from PAA, an all day unfolding of untethered freshness and tropical night mystique. Manly, alluring and curious.

Garden of Bali is a citrus marine bouquet with Top notes of lime, lemon, grapefruit, orange, orange blossom and sea salt. Middle notes of ambergris, seaweed and ozone. Base notes amber moss, benzoin and bamboo. - The scentscape of anticipation and pure adventure.

For me this is a aquatic, floral scent. Straight away I pick up the orange blossom sea salt, then the citrus notes. The ambergris, seaweed, and ozone add the aquatic notes, while the amber moss, benzine, bamboo, add a slight earthiness which balances the scent out and stops the citrus notes from dominating the scent. I tried this soap a few years ago and liked it, When I had the opportunity to purchase the AS as well I couldn't say no.

This is a really well blended scent. Scent persons would really appreciate the balance. I also like how PAA AS are strong and no need for a separate cologne. 6 hours later and I can still smell the aquatic and floral notes quite strong. CK6 formula is still my favourite vegan soap formula. If I didn't know it was vegan, I could have been fooled for a good tallow based soap.

A super summer scent for a super summer day ot night. The middle and base notes keep this scent as masculine and I like that. If I could give this a two thumbs up I would. (y)

I have a few hundred of those Gillette 7oclock yellows. Been a long while since used one. I was going to try that blade next in the R94 if the Gillette Stainless turned out to be a fizzer. As of today I am on 27 shaves with the same blade in the same razor, and it felt the same as shave 26 and 25. Interesting thing is I remember specifically the shave before I posted the above, I slowly pulled the blade across the skin ATG under my chin to see if it would pull, as pulling means time to bin the blade. No it cut cleanly and no tugging. Normally any other blade after 3-4 shaves I would bin the blade due to slightest pull or rough feeling. In the past I have used the same blade in other razors, and I did like them alot until I ran out a few years ago. I substituted Astra SS as they felt very similar on the first two shaves, but now I can see there is a huge difference between the blades, as when the Astra SS start to fail, The Gillette Stainless keep on going and going at the same time still being efficient and smooth. In my books, they are a better blade than the wizamet I tried in the R94.

In saying that I

The Gillette Stainless (red and white pack) are the real KING! I don’t know IF could pull beyond 20 shaves per blade as YMMV.

Gillette Stainless (red and white pack) behaves very similar to the Gillette Spoiler.

So are you saying the Gillette Spoiler should have this kind of longevity/edge-retention as well? I’m using my first ever spoiler at the moment in my 6S (#6 plate). Have gotten 4 great shaves from it so far, but I assumed I’d bin it after tomorrow’s shave.

Maybe I should keep going to see how far I can push it?

Just flip the blade over every second or thrid shaves depending on your stubble as YMMV, Vintage Gillette Spoilers does LAST LONGER! than modern today blades

Edit:- Forgot! The latest Wizamet SI (former Polsilver SI) Russian blade does last longer too, make sure your lather is nice and slick.

Definitely keep going mate. I’d say a week is the absolute minimum.

Gillette Super Adjustable 1974
Gillette Spoiler S-4 1972 @ Can't remember, maybe 8-9
Vie-Longue Horse
Proraso Eucalyptus Soap
Old Spice Knockoff from Family Dollar

This morning, I opened my "Tool Box" with all the projects and picked one of the Super Adjustables. I gave it a good clean and a light polish before taking it for a spin.
The shave was just wonderful, I think I'll leave this one in my permanent rotation.
