Pre: Hot shower.
Razor: Smart Helix Apollo, Aggressive Plate
Blade: Feather
Bowl: Handmade bowl, Mk3
Brush: RazoRock Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: Stirling Executive Man
Post: Stirling Executive Man Aftershave Splash
WTG, ATG, touch up with adjusted angles for my beard.

Received the Smart Helix Apollo today and had to use it.
The razor in hand felt well balanced with plenty of grip on the handle. I was a little concerned using the aggrieve plate first up. All I can say is wow. Shaved over the trouble spots with ease. Very comfortable, smooth with zero irritation. No question this is a topnotch razor.
If you are after specs and info I would refer you to @Errol review.

Excellent lather with some DG Milksteak unscented provided the foundation of a top shave. The slickness and post shave feel was outstanding. There was next to no blade feel from the Polsilver and WR2 combo again, and the APR serum did it’s magic to finish off with an unscented shave.
Not one to want to smell of nothing, I had my first go at using Hermes Terre d’Hermes EdP which arrived yesterday. One spray on the neck, a quick wipe with my right wrist and rub both wrists together. I think it’s enough and not wanting to overdo it on the first use. I really dig the scent on this one!

Trying to decide on a hollow or solid handle for my timeless so comparing the jaws with the timeless over the next week or so. The JAWS, as always, never disappoints.

Millions of peaches; peaches for me 🍑

Great lather with an excellent scented soap sample by Dr Jon’s. This one really hits the spot!

The Grizzly Bay brush was really comfortable to hold and the knot was fantastic to whip some great lather up.

Fifth day using a Polsilver blade, is normally have stopped at 4 but I’m pushing the boundaries this month and going to attempt to get through the entire month on 1 blade. The Wolfman is so effortless with the Polsilver.

Finished up using the Zingari Man unscented balm for a super smooth and subtle face feel.

Happy days! Enjoy whatever the weekend has in store for you...

Pre: Warm Shower
Razor: JAWS + Timeless handle
Blade: Polsilver
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Silvertip Badger
Soap: PAA F-Bomb
Post: AP Reserve Escentials 'Restoration'

This morning I added the timeless SS handle to the jaws head to increase the weight.
  • Stock Timeless SS = 132g
  • Stock JAWS = 105g
  • JAWS head + Timeless Handle = 120g
I have come to learn that I enjoy a heavier razor for sure, so my handle for the wolfman will be a solid one.
  • Wolfman WR2 + 90mm Solid WRH2 handle = 127g
  • Wolfman WR2 + 80mm Solid WRH2 handle = 115g
  • Wolfman WR2 + 90mm Hollow WRH2 handle = 197g

Weight wise an 80mm handle would be perfect but I think I may find this a little small, the timeless and jaws handles come in at 85mm. I wonder if wolfman razors does a custom 85mm handle, if not will have to go for a 90mm solid.

The AP reserve restoration was again quickly soaked into the skin and left no residual greasy feeling at all so I thought it would be a good idea to add more so I added a second application, again all soaked up and face feels great.
