Joserra Noir // Semogue Torga Mistura // RAW RS10 // Joserra Noir Splash
The brush was made by @Tony Forsyth who has been a regular and a vendor on this forum for a number of years. Tony is one of the artisan's behind the latest P&C LE Matilda brush which you may have seen referenced over the past month or so.Beautiful looking brush. I did try to Google it, but only came up with your posts. I guess my "newness" is showing, but what exactly is the brand?
Thanks
I hadn't noticed any difference in efficiency between the Fatboy and Slim.? I use the same settings on both razors. I love them both and wouldn't like to choose between them but would possibly choose Slim over the Fatboy as it feels slightly more dextrous in my hand.Well of course it is each to his own - many people prefer one or the other because of balance, length and diameter of handle or asserted aggressiveness. Allegedly the Fatboy has 'better' balance (just different I think) and the Slim is more aggressive (maybe ?) but certainly the Slim has a slightly longer and thinner handle!
The solution of course is to get BOTH!
After my shower and cold water rinse I went to work on the PannaCrema
Funnily enough one of these razors caught my eye on eBay this morning but i didn't buy it because i presumed that like my beautiful Enders razor, that it's impossible to get blades for them. So is there some sort of "adaptor" that allows you to use modern blades with the Gem razor?A shave inspired by @Mark1966 's E Bar last week. Did not disappoint.

You've got me pining for Sophie Fatboy now........... It's straight up on the menu when I get home for Saturday morning. I can probably find a Wilky but not the Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars, which I recall from a travelling box was very nice, and alas I do not have a butterscotch badger (let alone a breeding program for them).Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Culmak
Soap/Cream: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars shaving soap
Razor: Vintage Gillette 'Fatboy' (5)
Blade: Vintage UK Wilkinson Sword (5)
Post-shave: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars splash / balm
Fragrance: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars EDP
So much love for the Fatboy around - it is a seriously great razor
@Mark1966 I think you’ve got yourself a very serious and desperate Fatboy rabbit hole enabler directly from @PbgooseYou've got me pining for Sophie Fatboy now........... Maybe try stropping the blade using a cork bottle instead of your armPre-shave:- Shower/Bloom Water
Brush:- Omega - 10065 Natural Bristle
Soap:- Murphy & McNeil - Triskele
Razor:- Blackland Dart
Blade:- Gillette Rubie (4)
Aftershave:- Murphy & McNeil - Triskele (Menthol and Alcohol Free)
The Rubie was sharp but rough - stropped against the arm to see if can get a week out of it
