The c/f is claimed to be concentrated and I find this to be the case.
Roughly 1/4 the amount of cream normally used is sufficient for a 3 pass shave.
A great shave this a.m. followed by a fantastic bushwalk with the child bride and the eldest daughter.

Thx to @bald as got to shave with a freshly honed razor this afternoon. Having a sharp edge allowed me to go to the next level ATG on the neck.
Yet to master the goatee area and still resorting to DE to finish off. Spoilt for choice now with 3 freshly honed razors including a birth year 66' Russian,

Proraso red
Truefitt ultimate comfort is outstanding
Face feel superb with smooth near bbs shave.
Pro red prepares me for another cold day of bushwalking in the upper mountains with the 2 maniacs from yesterday.
This will be my set up for the week.
Cart razors? What was I thinking.

That boar bush is getting very soft and floppy like a wet paintbrush, I think you need to start re-painting your bathroom ceiling and the bathroom door again.

I reckon that BSB may carry a Vielong knot if it is old enough. I have one like yours but 25 mm knot, and still is my preferred silvertip knot.
Have been buying up as many quality 2nd hand badgers as I can to compare and this BSB Spain is the perfect balance of softness with density and spine. Favourite of all badgers in the den.
Will be looking out for more vintage vie long silvertip knots in the future. Any recommendations for 20 - 22mm knot?

I have to admit that using the brown soap is a little disconcerting - but the results are worth it!

Sorry, I have no experience in these sizes, and little with vie long... If you want new ones, you may check gifts and care website?
cheers
