Brush:- Semogue SOC 2 Band Finest Badger in Cherry Wood 24/53mm knot

Oooh. :woot: You've stirred tip my BAD, I don't think I've seen one of these before. How does the knot feel? Anything like the real thing? Not smelling like a dead pig's donger is a good thing. (y)
Get a Simpson synth first, you will not regret it. Don’t forgot the Muhle synth and well the 30 odd soaps you want. Hmm I see a problem on the horizon, ah well I can’t talk I just picked up a lovely vintage hat from 1956 and the current owner is just now passing it on and yes he is still kicking and only wore it for that 1 year in 1956.

I wonder what happened to @Nico's berets? Someone ought to pick up on that tradition, last I read he had about 70, and room for another 70. (y) And diverging even further off-topic, how many of us have those nice bowls made by Mrs Nico?

Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson brush
Soap/Cream: Phoenix & Beau Spitfire soap
Razor: Vintage EverReady 'E' bar razor

I look forward to an edge report :)
I’m waiting on my tomo to arrive so it might be a little while. I have an Okudo Kitta, Nakayama Mizo Asagi and a Shobudani on the way. I first have to seal them anyway and check to see if they have been lapped. The Ozuku definitely has but I’m not sure of the Nakayama given it still has it stamps visible.

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: CaYuen "Copper Ore" 30mm SynBad
Soap/Cream: Mystic Water Jeff's Lavender
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Kai PINK
Post-shave: Shower, Homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+.
COTD: Yemen Hamasil Village

I've been neglecting this soap of late, so I'm going to put some time into it this week. One of my favourite lavenders, a real peppery one with a hint of Erinmore pipe tobacco. :woot:

I cut a Tomo from my Kitta - very nervously. Works wonderfully. I have another small Koppa, unknown type that has an unused corner that can be removed for a tomo nagura. It is great how different stones can be used to give such a variety of edges.

Im looking forward to trying the edges. I have my eye on a koma but I don't know if I can justify the price. I also have to grab an Atoma 1200 as well. Stones be cheap right. I'll save money by using a straight... Sure you will.

Unfortunately I have limited my obsessions to shaving and books but @Nico always sported a cool cap/beret to our Meet Ups. I proudly own one of Mrs Nico's bowls and it takes up a special place in my collection.

Brush: Alpha Shaving Brushes T-400 24mm AP Shave Co. Faux Horse
Razor: iKon SBS + RazoRock Halo handle
Blade: Gillette Platinum (4) - thanks @rhodes96
Pre: Shower
Soap: Blue Devil Shave Co. Sinnerman Orange sample - thanks @rhodes96
Post: Nivea 2 Phase Post Shave Lotion // Sukin Hydration Biomarine Facial Serum
WTG, ATG, Touchups = DFS+

A great way to start the first day of the week! The blade + razor was a step up in efficiency over the milder 34C without losing any smoothness. The soap gets a great wrap and rightly so as plenty of slickness and cushion, with fabulous post shave feel and a pleasant scent to boot! Finished off with some lotion and Serum... Icing on the cake was seeing the Poms lose in a final at home! :ROFLMAO:

Stay Safe & Happy Shaves!

This tub of Stirling Baker Street is so full I couldn't bloom if I wanted to. Measured tonight at 280g apparently the tub is 80g so 200g of soap approximately 7oz in a 5.4 oz tub and that's after about 10 shaves (y)

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: H&S Co. - Black & Green 24mm tuxedo
Soap/Cream: Zingari Man - The Explorer
Razor: Muhle - Rocca R94
Blade: Gillette - Minora Stainless (33)
Post-shave: Zingari Man - The Explorer recovery splash / Zingari Man - Sego AS balm

2 pass WTG + touchups daily shave = DFS+ An ultra smooth effortless shave, practically BBS. The Rocca delivered a brilliant shave better than the day before.

GAME, SET & MATCH. 33 shaves on the Gillette Minora Stainless and how great the 33 shaves were. No nicks, cuts, or weepers, just shaving bliss. This blade has now equaled my record for the longest shave on a single DE blade. The other blade the Gillette Stainless ( red & white ), also achieved 33 shaves before I retired it. This time round I felt the effort to achieve the 33 shaves was less involved as I had plenty of practise last time around.

Will I be retiring this blade? NO.
I will continue on with this blade in rotation till it no longer achieves at least a DFS. By far the most balanced modern DE blade I have ever used. It's basically the Jack of all Blades.
