Well @tim33z suggested in a post a while back that I stand my razors up to make my SOTD look better (least I think that was what he meant ;)) but I will let you be the judge. HUGE thanks for @Razor Burn for the opportunity on the razor.

Timeless 95
Wizamet
Stirling Bergamot Lavender thanks to @Gargravarr for the sample
Zenith Boar
Le Grande Chypre

Absolutely love the scent of this soap which comes along with the usual goodness of a Stirling soap. Not sure how I went so long without a lavender scented soap in my Den, definitely got to get my hands on a splash. Timeless performed wonderfully leaving me with a hassle free BBS. Part of me is experiencing a 'need' to get in on the SE market but the common sense in me just cant see why

Glad you like it. It's easily the nicest scent of all the Stirling soaps I've tried, and of course great value for money. The only drawback with lavender scents is they've got no staying power by themselves. The B&M Reserve soap scent lingers on the skin for a while, but that one's a bit artificial, not uncommon in B&M scents.

I am not surprised I love the scents as I do enjoy floral scents, especially Rose.. you just reminded me I am pretty sure I have a full unused tub of the B&M lavender.. I bought it a while back before finishing the current tub and have just forgotten I had it lol.. I really enjoy the B&M but it def has that artificial vibe to it, similar to the WK Chypre Rose Concerto

I never expect any soap scents to linger, probably cos I load on the splash after the shave :) which is why I am after a nice lavender splash to compliment the soap.. hoping @CraigE has some in the making

Congratulations on the latest razor and happy to see a piece of P&C history go to such a great guy. I'm certain I'll regret letting it go as a beautiful piece of shaving hardware but it wasn't getting the love it deserved. (y)

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: CaYuen "Copper Ore" 30mm Boss
Soap: D.R. Harris - Windsor - thanks (y) @rhodes96
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Kai PINK
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+
COTD: Mocha Ismaili, Yemen (in the briki)

Just as I seem to have set everyone off on a lavender hit, I'm changing the scene here. Keep up if you can...

interesting.. so do you pulverise your own beans for this or buy it? I have tried grounding fresh beans to make cafe in a briki but doesnt quite come out the same as pulverised cafe
I smooshed them up with a mortar and pestle. My grinder doesn't go fine enough either, which is why I don't make coffee this way as often as I'd like.

Jan Garbarek - thanks for sharing! I’m born and raised in Norway, so I know this artist. When I was around five my cousin was tragically killed in a car accident. In the funeral reception, his brother played the song “Brother Wind” - I will never forget. I’m starting to get into jazz now - not so much contemporary jazz though.
He's something of a giant in music circles, and a lot of his work is in what I call crossover genres, almost not really jazz as such at all. Such as, for instance his recordings with the Hilliard ensemble. This is the best known of those...

Awesome.. ordered a tub of the Lavender and had to also try out the Lust, both in full strength :)

are you making any matching aftershaves? I was going to grab some but you only had the Pine on offer
I am going to be doing an aftershave of some kind. Just getting it sorted at the moment. I was looking at doing an aftershave balm, but I am at the moment rethinking it.

no worries.. there are lots of people who enjoy a balm, but i tend to stay away as most I have tried (except for the neurtogena) come off as oily for me so tend not to use them. But if you come up with a splash (especially lavender) i'll be in with that one.

Also I a hanging out to smell the LUST soap, the combination of Rose Geranium, Patchouli and Vanilla sounds delicious, and if this proves to be the case would love to splash that on my face :)
