I was going to ask what you did with the 6th round.Bullets are props. No primer, powder and they are drilled through on the bottom. Just a bit of theme shave to the final Daniel Craig James Bond film.
Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Rooney shaving brush
Soap/Cream: APR Fougere Trois shaving soap
Razor: Charcoal Goods Generation 1 Level 2 P&C head with prototype stinger handle
Blade: Polsilver 'Brown' (5)
Post-shave: APR Fougere Trois splash
Fragrance: B&M Le Grand Chypre EDT
Not sure that this EDT will grow on me. 'One "note" out' is my wife's description. We are tossing up whether adding or subtracting an ingredient would land it for us, it is close, but not quite there.
Another great shave from the CG razor though...
I was going to ask what you did with the 6th round.
Oh, BTW, your watches seem to be living in different time zones. Is that intentional?
On the 6th round I made Par. I go not know idea, I spent yesterday cleaning up my lockup. I was able to with the assistance of an old friend fill up a 3 cubic metre bin full of rubbish. Feels good to get rid of nearly 15 years worth of junk. Have to make way for 2 years worth of vital shaving accoutrements.
You should try the soap. I love it.
Shouldn't be too hard to hide lol.The funny thing is, my wife made me that soap to use with the aftershave I bought from you. Then not long after, you bring out your soap so yes, I'll be trying it. Just have to hide it from the missus so she doesn't get her nose out of joint
Shouldn't be too hard to hide lol.
The soap is made with the very same essence as the splash.
That can't be a bad thingShe gave up being interested in my shaving obsession a long time ago
RAD killer of sorts it seems. Day 12? of this razor and first blade. Still delivering easy shaves and good results. How long can I push it?

Yeah there is nothing quite as uncomfortable as a blade that is not sharp enough. I always have a second straight or heaven forbid a DE to take over when I’m trying a new straight for the first time. I applaud you perseverance.
Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Semogue 1305
Soap/Cream: Stirling Ramblin’ Man
Razor: Gold Dollar P81 (Yintal Brass DE for cleanup)
Blade: Minora (5)
Post-shave: Alum block, RR Emperor, Armaf Club de Nuit
First straight razor shave! A couple of months ago I as lucky enough to pick up a beautiful Bengall straight, in almost pristine condition. I sent it to Dion at DC Blades ( @Substance) and it was returned in no time after a hone by the master. I mentioned to Dion I was thinking about getting a cheap Gold Dollar to practice stropping and honing on, so that I wouldn't ruin the edge he had put on the Bengall but by the time he replied advising against that idea I had gone ahead and ordered it. Dion also advised to get a 12K hone to put a proper edge on my razors, and although the GD was allegedly honed to 8K and would shave arm hairs (not tree top) I decided to use it for my first straight shave. It was immediately apparent even to this beginner that the edge needed work; it felt more like I was scraping the whiskers off rather than cutting them. In any case, I kept at it, with my initial plan being to just do my cheeks. That went OK, so I chipped away at my chin for a while and was surprised that I could get at most of it. The areas I couldn't get at were my left sideburn area and neck. I must have looked like I was arm wrestling myself at some stages... I finally got at least 80% of my face covered albeit patchy in places. I'm sure that when I steel myself to take the Bengall to my face it will actually be easier and less risky than todays effort. Eventually I called it quits and tidied up with the Yintal to end up with a DFS and very happy with that. No cuts!
Every time I see peoples Rocca R95’s I kick myself for getting the R94 instead, if any of you get sick of complete function and beauty and need some SS in your life let me know I’ll trade you rocca for rocca
