Prep: Barrister and Mann Cool soap, Alt Innsbruck Emulsion
Brush: Shavemac 3-band Silvertip Badger
Cream: Lea Menthol
Razor: Merkur Futur (2)
Blade: Perma Sharp (1)
Post: Alt Innsbruck Emulsion
Scent: Musgo Real Oak Moss Cologne

Thought I'd glamp up the mining camp shave with some Musgo Real cologne ;).

Razor: Blackland Vector Ti
Blade: Kai Captain Titan Mild Pink (2) - thanks @Gargravarr
Pre: Shower
Soap: Blue Devil Shave Co. The Lavender Patch
Post: AP Reserve Lavioletta A/S Splash
Touchups = BBS

A great way to start the weekend as this setup delivered the goods. Distinct blade feel from the Kai's but still enjoyable.
Enjoying working in the boar as still scratchy but a large knot that should end up nice and soft in due time.
The soap base is supreme with a lovely floral scent that pairs well with this splash.
Hard to split between this one and Lust as both wonderful and by no means over powering despite opting for the extra strength...

First shave with this soap and I really like it. It has been described as a “light, fruity blend of green fig, rose, lemon, and driftwood”, and I think you kind of get the idea from that. It’s sweet/fruity, no doubt about it, opens with a sharp green fig, and then there is wood. Great for summer. If you prefer ultra-masculine scents it’s probably not for you.
 
Playing it safe with sensitive accoutrements

Pre-shave:- Shower/Proraso - Green Tea and Oatmeal Pre-Barba
Brush:- Thiers Issard silvertip with natural horn handle
Soap:- Proraso - Green Tea and Oatmeal Sapone Da Barba
Razor:- Thiers Issard #69
Aftershave:- Stirling WHAM

I was very careful not to make them overpowering, but is the scent enough?
 
Over the past five days, I have been comparing my Revisor 6-0035 SR against my Ralf Aust SR to try and determine which of the two is my most favoured. This morning's shave was with my Revisor.

The result of this comparison test is that they are equally my most favoured. Now don't get me wrong. They are not the same in shaving. They do however give me about the same level of shaving enjoyment so that they are equally my most favoured.

I still can't find any issues with this handle as the colours and shape look great and glad to finally have something to set the G4 knot in as previous attempts felt off. Love the scent and performance of the soap and an excuse to pair it with this (now unobtanium) splash... :)

First shave with this soap. Really great summer scent - very juicy and refreshing. The scent notes should tell you everything you need to know. Wish I could get the aftershave splash.

Beautiful day, beach was looking great with almost no waves - kind of rare for the Gold Coast - I think I will head out for a swim.

What a lovely scent of lavender, absolutely love the scent on this soap.. the irish countryside was a nice compliment to the splash.

A few months back I was quite close to putting the WR2 for sale, I am so glad I persisted with it because it has turned out to be on of my best razors. Used to get some weepers and irritation with this razor and had thought i went a touch too high on the blade gap, but now it only gives me super smooth, Irritation free shaves.. and when its in the hand you can feel the quality of this lovely razor :love:
