Soap: Mystic Water - Jeff's Lavender
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Proline
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+, Stirling Bergamot Lavender EDT
COTD: Java Kawah Ijen - now I have this as well as a couple of Yemens, I might treat myself to a real Mocha Java sometime soon :)

I've been using this MW soap fairly hard for a couple of weeks, and I'll be chasing bits of it around the tub for a while yet. I'm not in a hurry to use it up (I have a very full backup), but the shaves have been so good, I don't want to put it down. I don't know if it's a subtle improvement in my technique or simply the season playing nice with my skin, I'm not complaining. Although there's a bowl in the pic, I find this soap works best when face lathered.

Big occasion? You mean me heading off to work early and my wife having Year 12 Graduation ceremony at her school tonight? The EDT will be well and truly gone by the time we actually see each other for more than 5 minutes :)

Congratulations to you and Mrs Mark1966!

Thanks

Been busy the past week, deaths and packing up my belongings.

Sorry to hear that, there are some things in life that just suck.

At least you have at least one great constant - being able to have a great shave!

Mike's natural soap, pine cedarwood
YPM, mild + Astra SP
P&C Matilda

Been a while since I posted here since our move North. Life in Port Macquarie is lovely so far. First week was just rain and then more rain, but since then the sun has been shining. Thankfully I have time off until mid Jan, but that means flying solo with the kids whilst my wife is still working. However, the bliss of having a more space and a backyard has meant that the kids have been playing beautifully. Anyway, lovely shave with this setup, but reckon I will only shave a couple of times a week.

Blue Devil LUST soap/splash

It was so good yesterday, I had to do it again :)

@CraigE a big thumbs up to you on your balm and splashes. Both the splash and balm were applied on stinking hot days so were tested well, both were fully absorbed and left the skin feeling amazing.. great work

I am thinking of making the splash a little differently. Using less polysorbate so that it can be more fluid. At the moment it is a little thick in consistency. By doing this it will mean that you will need to shake it up before using it, as the essential oils will sit on top.

I don't use the Karve much these days as hate the blade tab over hang but a great shaver in its own right.
Absolutely love this brush as it looks cool, feels comfortable and the knot is soft and a lather machine!!!

Stay Safe & Happy Shaves!

Very close BBS. Sometimes forget the 95 can bite. Plenty of sting from the toner.
