Prep: I poured myself uhh.. a "mega-pint" of red vine
Brush: Chisel & Hound "Dark Forest" + Maggard 24mm SHD badger
Razor: Karve CB Brass SB-C
Blade: Feather (2)
Lather: Summer Break Soaps - Homecoming
Post shave: Nivea - Sensitive Post Shave Balm
Fragrance: Jean Paul Gaultier - Le Male EDT

Great shave, have a good evening folks!

not only does a little go long way but applying too much leaves your skin feeling greasy. Just a touch and the jar lasts a very long time

also pays to shop around.. its currently $25 at chemist warehouse (usual price) but only $15 at price line atm
Wowzers that's super cheap!
Thanks for the tip. (y)

The Velours Noir is a very nice soap. I wouldn't be in a hurry to kill the tub...
Sadly I prefer the other wintery scents more eg Fenchurch, Ozymandias with only a few more shaves left until the tub is gone. Was nice whilst it lasted.

I don't mind the black Wilkies myself. I bought a heap of Shark blades and they aren't too bad for my face but I certainly won't be replacing them if or when I finish them.
I'll be honest I only have experience from my early days beginning so poor equipment, lather and technique could be to blame so might have to go back and test out all the blades I hate to see if things have changed...?

@Razor Burn, now that my technique is much better, and I have a much better idea about lathering, pre-shave routine etc, I'm wondering if I should revisit some of the blades that I put on the "dodgy" list when I was starting out. Then I think about the fact that I have a short list of blades that work really well for me and for $200-300 I could buy enough to last the rest of my life, is it really worth it? First world problems!

Soap: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars
Post-shave: Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars balm
Have you compare both Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade from China and India

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: CaYuen "Watermelon" 28mm AP G5A
Soap: Stirling Bergamot Lavender
Razor: Alpha Claymore Evolution
Blade: Schick Proline
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+, Stirling Bergamot Lavender EDT
COTD: Mocha Ismaili, Yemen

I pulled out the G5B I had in this brush handle (too easy, so I probably hadn't stuck it properly in the first place) and replaced it with the G5A I had formerly earmarked for my next Troycraft brush. The G5B (though very good) is nowhere near in the same class as the other two AP knots.

I agree 100% as not worth the risk of spoiling a good shave.

Pre-shave:- Cold shower
Brush:- Zenith - M7 25mm Black Resin Manchurian
Razor: GC_84.P
Soap:- Southern Witchcrafts - Desairology
Blade:- Cloud (14)
Aftershave:- Southern Witchcrafts - Desairology

Desairology is a delightful citrus scent like a milder Gravefruit
Yes @SpeedyPC I am still palm stropping but not trying outdo any other blade just maxing it out. I always find when swapping blades between razors I tend to get more mileage
