Wowzers that's super cheap!not only does a little go long way but applying too much leaves your skin feeling greasy. Just a touch and the jar lasts a very long time
also pays to shop around.. its currently $25 at chemist warehouse (usual price) but only $15 at price line atm
Sadly I prefer the other wintery scents more eg Fenchurch, Ozymandias with only a few more shaves left until the tub is gone. Was nice whilst it lasted. The Velours Noir is a very nice soap. I wouldn't be in a hurry to kill the tub...
I'll be honest I only have experience from my early days beginning so poor equipment, lather and technique could be to blame so might have to go back and test out all the blades I hate to see if things have changed...?I don't mind the black Wilkies myself. I bought a heap of Shark blades and they aren't too bad for my face but I certainly won't be replacing them if or when I finish them.
@Razor Burn, now that my technique is much better, and I have a much better idea about lathering, pre-shave routine etc, I'm wondering if I should revisit some of the blades that I put on the "dodgy" list when I was starting out. Then I think about the fact that I have a short list of blades that work really well for me and for $200-300 I could buy enough to last the rest of my life, is it really worth it? First world problems!I'll be honest I only have experience from my early days beginning so poor equipment, lather and technique could be to blame so might have to go back and test out all the blades I hate to see if things have changed...?

I agree 100% as not worth the risk of spoiling a good shave.@Razor Burn, now that my technique is much better, and I have a much better idea about lathering, pre-shave routine etc, I'm wondering if I should revisit some of the blades that I put on the "dodgy" list when I was starting out. Yes @SpeedyPC I am still palm stropping but not trying outdo any other blade just maxing it out. I always find when swapping blades between razors I tend to get more mileage
Palm stropping wanker
Looking at your edit, I'm left with a question that requires no answer: are you admitting to cheating or being a wanker? Though of course 100% of humans are wankers... Of course, you could always just change your blade if it's no longer up to scratch. Or if it is scratching...
