Pre-shave:- Shower & full body Sorbolene moisturiser
Brush:- Simpson Jubilee QEII 130/150
Soap:- P.160 - Tippo Morbido
Razor:- Filarmonica #13
Post-shave:- Cella
Don't worry about the ugly scales they are not staying. Filarmonica was in the same basket as CV Heljestrand 30 Series "must try but way too expensive" so kept an eye out for diamonds in the rough and after the CV being a complete lemon I was dubious of this Filly with celluloid rot, broken scale and tapered toe (repair job or bad honing) and wanted to try the blade before investing in some nice scales. The blade was easy to hone despite its tapered toe and finally mastered shave ready from 12K Shapton delivering a lovely 2 x WTG = BBS.
Now to find a beautiful pair of scales worthy of such a blade
