How's that GEM Treating you?
Very impressed with performance. I want to say not as close as most DE in the den but that's not correct, its a different shave experience.
I've found it to be very intuitive and riding the cap comes naturally, Definitely not the cheese grater I feared and glad I did not let other views influence decision to try
It's almost the perfect DFS like a good mild DE86 with a GSB blade but the head is a bit bulky where crease in upper lip (philtrum) meets the nose, that bit you can not get ATG
On the fence whether to try an more aggressive MMOC but if a bargain like this ever comes up won't be able to resist
Thank you, one very happy shaver here :) (y)

That's sort of how I feel about the Sabre L2. After having now spent quite a bit of time with that little gem :rolleyes: I find I'm reaching for it more and more often for an easy super-smooth BBS with absolutely no trace of irritation. It'll never be quite as nimble as the Vector, but it easily handles ATG right up to the nostrils without any discomfort.

My 2021 sabbatical prevented me from making the leap earlier, but I appreciate it all the more for having waited. I'm looking forward to reading what @Errol makes of it when he finally gets around to his review.

That brush looks like a military haircut and looks springy, are you painting the whole house?

You are correct, Speedster.
From the maker:
“While imitating the look of a silvertip badger knot, this 100% synthetic knot is the first synthetic to be released in this flat top shape. This knot its ULTRA SOFT at the tips while the shape and size (24mm*60mm as a loose knot) provides great backbone. A truly outstanding knot with the high quality you would expect from APShaveCo.”

Glad it defied your expectations ;) It was a efficient shaver for me, just found the blades to be a mix of rough and tuggy, but never gave me any post-shave irritation. I don't have an MMOC, but if I see one at a steal, I'll flick you the details!
