The leeches we have here ALWAYS cause nasty infections. I've taken to keeping a pack of amoxicillin in my bedside table to knock the bugs on the head as quickly as possible. You get used to looking out for them and checking out your boots and pants frequently.

…….Getting back into the swing of things

Pre-shave:- Hot towel
Brush:- Grizzly Bay w/ Fanchurian knot
Soap/Aftershave:- B&M Le Grand Chypre
Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Gillette 7o’clock Shadow
Topped up: Leaf Razor + Gillette 7 o’clock shadow

Much much easier and more natural than Thursdays shave. Stating the obvious, the Merkur is less aggressive than the Blackbird. Just wish it had a longer handle. I must have purchased the Smurf edition back in the day.

Opted for B&M Le Grand Chypre - another rich / perfumey scent - but it lathers well.

Only needed the one pass tonight - then topped up the back of my neck with the Leaf

Does anyone use a shaving bowl? Any recommendations? Thinking about giving one of them a go.
