I know exactly how you feel and glad you love it.. trust me when I say try a Feather and BIC in it, Nacet also excellent but for some reason the German Wilkies (which i like) dont go well with this razor

I have never felt a feather so smooth in any razor prior to putting it into a BB, the WR2 came close
The only concern when the Blackbird first came out which kinda turns me right off was the bloody-looking fixed 45dec angle top plate style.

Seems like weeks since I last visited this setup. I guess that might be because it has been. I'm aiming to populate my den almost entirely with hard soaps in the future, but there will always be a place for CF.

Inspired by @bernie01 USB Microscope Review had to take a closer look at str8 edges. So in usual style found a near new 2nd hand on FleaBay. No surprise @Blackie little Dorko and @miner DublDuck are some of the best edges in the den. I can now see where others need more work and usually one side is polished while the other rough. May have to work on that backhand stroke or become an ambidextrous honer.
