This morning I started working my way through my Titan 1918 ACRO T.H-70 M7DS of SR's. Face lathered with Palmolive cream this morning. A perfect DFS+ result in three passes; WTG, XTG + fool's pass and another XTG in opposite direction.

I really enjoy shaving with these Titan SR's. They are keen, comfortable and forgiving. I couldn't ask for more, except the concentration needed when shaving with my Gold Dollar W59.

During the week I will also be shaving with a different face-lathered shaving soap/cream each day. They will consist of:

Palmolive Men Regular cream (Italy)
ARKO stick (Turkey)
Tallow Tabac stick (Germany)
Proraso green cream (Italy)
Derby stick (Turkey)
Nivea Sensitive Men cream (Australia)
Palmolive stick (Australia)

All of these are good soaps for SR shaving, although some are better than others.

Absolute ripper of a shave today, SOTW for sure. I believe the Minora may of edged out the nacet for best blade with the 72

I'm using a minora this week and I've been thinking the same thing. I was really impressed with the Wizamet but this week the quality of shave is as good or better, but the alum block barely illicits a response. Very smooth. I was thinking about buying big supply of Wizamets, but now I think it's down to Nacets or Minoras. I do have some Clouds arriving soon to try as well.

good to hear mate.. I honestly thought I had a Nacet in the 72 and was thoroughly enjoying the shave, thinking this one felt better than others as I may of produced a better lather. When I took the razor apart to clean (as i do after every shave) i was quite surprised to see the Minora in there. I must of done it while i was moving blades around and forgot about it but for me, it was just as sharp (or just about) as a Nacet but even smoother.. these two are def the blades for the Lupo's

SOTD - 14FEB2022

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Brush: Yaqi Barberpole Tuxedo 30mm
Soap: Barrister and Mann Seville
Razor: Rockwell 6C // Cheap and nasty Wahl DE Shavette
Blade: Astra Green (2)
Post-shave: Alum Block, Nivea Aftershave Balm and some of the Missus' face stuff.

Today's shave wasn't so great, I fell victim to over confidence with the shavette ended up nicking myself a couple of times and barely finished the first pass before I cracked it and finished the rest off with the 6C. Still, the end results were DFS- territory so I'm still happy with that. To note, I never realised how citrusy Seville is until I used it today, as I've been using the delightful NO Barrbarr almost exclusively for the past couple of weeks.

You don't like the Vector handle? I normally don't go in for long handles, but that one just feels (and looks) so natural with the Vector head.

That ring hasn't grown much, even the aftershave is lasting longer than expected. I would gladly finish the soap in the shower if the aftershave ran out

The balance is out with the added weight but it does feel less like a tooth pick. (y)

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender ...

- unless we have a great shave like this

Maybe the unconditional surrender is referring to the French? ;):p

After all, why fight when you can eat cheese?

... and drink wine?

Have they 'won' anything since Napolean?
