Stando SE Brass / Schick Proline
Cremo Original Shave Cream
Aqua Velva Aftershave
Quick, basic shave, and it was back to keeping Roasie from getting too bored. During Monday’s shave, she chewed through the power cord to my laptop. I ordered more chew toys along with a new power cord.

Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Semogue 1305 boar
Soap: Wholly Kaw ‘Jamestown Gentleman’
Razor: Blue Wonder (Smart Helix Apollo, aggr.)
Blade: Polsilver (1)
Post-shave: Alum block, Pinaud Special Reserve, Armaf ‘Club de Nuit’
I spent half an hour or so honing this razor on my 12K Naniwa yesterday, taking my time, and added lots of stropping on a paddle strop.
One other change was that I used Kapton tape, which wears much better than electrical tape and doesn't foul the whetstones, also it is much thinner so more
like using no tape. For the first time ever, I experienced what a good edge should feel like as the Blue Wonder gave me a superb shave with none of the tugging/jumping that
has caused cuts before. A complete shave leaving only a tiny area below my nostrils and on my lower lip line to tidy up. This morning I stropped and cleaned the
BW some more, and it is really popping hairs off my leg like I've never seen before. Now I know what can be achieved, I will be spending some more time touching up my
other two straights. A very satisfying shave, and another large step on the journey.

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Troycraft "Opalesque", 28mm AP Shave Co G5C fan
Soap: Czech & Speake - Oxford & Cambridge (Valobra)
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+, Oxford & Cambridge cologne
COTD: Mandheling Sumatra

Same shave as earlier in the week, so I won't bother with a pic, but it's interesting to note that the GEM blade, having completed 4 full head&face shaves is running smoother and sharper than ever. Next time I swap, I might try corking the blade to see if I can reach this stage from the get-go. In the meantime, I'll carry on with this one and see how long it keeps going.

Timeless Mix'n'Match

Pre-shave:- Shower
Brush:- Troycraft Aluminium 24mm Bulb
Soap:- Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary
Blade:- Wizamet (3)
Aftershave:- Saponificio Varesino 70th Anniversary

Razor:-
Handle:-
TRH 4 Barberpole 14mm
Baseplate:- TISLIM 0.5mm solid bar polished
Cap:- SCLCAP Scalloped Cap

Today's mix'n'match is my trusty old 0.68 OC scalloped razor with baseplate swapped out for TiSlim SB

The added weight was more familiar and contributed to a more enjoyable shave over the full Ti razor which I am still getting accustomed to.
Immediate post shave result was slightly better than full Titanium 2 x WTG = DFS ++ but really splitting hairs over difference
May have to source a TiSlim 0.5mm OC now to complete the comparison

Gillette ‘46-’47 Aristocrat / Nacet
Cremo Original Shave Cream
Aqua Velva Aftershave
Super quick, but enjoyable shave. Love the Crat with a Nacet. First accident for Rosie so far. My fault, I should have braved the rain and taken her out as soon as I woke up.

Rosie needs to learn to wake you up, if, she needs to go outside for a doggie loo. And she needs to respond or communicate, best way I trained a pup is I go outside and tell the dog ‘need wee wee’ and I pee outside up against a tree or wooden fence. Do this method for at least month while she still a pup, and you won’t have any issues.

Thanks @SpeedyPC. I'll give it a try. Of course the neighbors may have issues, but that's their ptoplem.

The neighbours need to understand that you’ve got a pup, otherwise, you start teaching how to pee outside when you’re simply commanding or communicate, ‘need wee wee’ otherwise you’re going have issues inside the house. Make sure you’ve got a dog flap door installed in the kitchen door lead towards your yard.

Just unlocked the flap door and go back to bed, easy peasy

/ Blue Devil Huon Tuxedo
/ Caties Bubbles x Talbot Shaving Valley of Fire
/ Gillette Aristocrat 66
/ Gilette Permasharp (3)
/ The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA
/ Nivea Skin & Stubble

This collaboration soap had excellent performance all around. A huge pity that the scent off the puck was very low. Lathering also released very little. I'd have to sniff pretty close to get whispers of the scent. With no batch/manufacturing date on the tub, this must have been an older one. Also noted that the last reviews of this soap that I read were from 4 years ago.

The permasharp sharpness fell off a cliff just before my last atg pass on my upper lip. Burn city. But nothing that a slap of Aloe Vera gel couldn't fix.
