Thanks! It’s really just my bathroom bench though and a little bit of editingThat is a great photo! The background matches the lid and the brush handle very well.
I didn't care much for the Proguard in the SS. Both Feather Professional and Schick worked much better for me.
Is the Era all it's cracked up to be? Did you get the Level 5 SB too?
Blackland ERA L5 OC / Nacet
Reknotted Ever Ready 22mm Maggard Synthetic
Phoenix and Beau Albion Shaving Soap / Epsilon Amber Aftershave
Two-pass BBS (WTG & ATC). Back to explore more of the Charles River conservation area with Rosie
Sort of, and yes. Era is a good shaver for the money, but for me, Level 5 plates are the only truly efficient ones. And yes, I have both SB and OC. The latter is only slightly more efficient than the former and not quite as smooth. Is the Era all it's cracked up to be? Did you get the Level 5 SB too?
Sometimes a smoother shave leaves me with a better shave than a more efficient one. For some reason the water I'm using here is making the Vector quite fiercely efficient, so I don't feel so inclined to spend the extra time to get a true BBS. Lately I've been wondering if I should have brought the Sabre with me.Sort of, and yes. Era is a good shaver for the money, but for me, Level 5 plates are the only truly efficient ones. That's a really interesting observation that just adds another factor to the good old "YMMV". Covid permitting, I'm going to be travelling to a few different spots in NSW soon and this concept has given me extra material to observe whilst shaving, to see if there's any noticeable difference when I get to use something other than Adelaide's infamously hard water.Sometimes a smoother shave leaves me with a better shave than a more efficient one. Funny, I had completely forgotten about Adelaide water. OK, it was 11 years ago and I was up in the Adelaide Hills, so maybe my mileage varied. I suspect I've just got spoilt. There are times when I'd rather drink my mountain rainwater or springwater in preference to single malt whisky. That's a really interesting observation that just adds another factor to the good old "YMMV". It's often said that if you look at the contents of a bottle of Cooper's, the sludge in the bottom is the Adelaide water. I still like it. Go figure...Don't drink it. SA water tastes like crap
WA’s water is also not great. Go there for work occasionally and I often feel less clean after a shower.Don't drink it. SA water tastes like crap
