Razor:- Tatara Masamune Nodachi
Blade:- Treet Platinum (2)

It would be splitting hairs (pun intended) to compare the Nodachi and Blackbird for overall performance but then why compare when I can just enjoy both :)

Totally agree. I thought the handle was a bit of a gimick and the head would shave no better than Lupo or Apollo but I was mistaken. It has a wonderful light feel that would give most Titanium razors a run for their money and the blade is curved which for my mileage provides a better shave than most other razors in the den or moved on and does not need a super sharp blade to perform.
