Shave Result: Excellent lather and performance from the firm Squadron soap, love the artwork on their labels as well. For me the scent is a wonderful well blended masculine citrus, green and lightly woody aroma, scent strength 5/10. Overall the VB + Dorco Prime gave a clean smooth DFS, VB does have some blade overhang to be aware of.

I will try and start posting again to try and claim back some normality in lifestyle. We moved into the house on Christmas Eve and have spent the last few weeks trying to get the place functional. We moved in without a functional kitchen, laundry or ensuite so gradually I've been fitting out. We are very happy with the feel of the renovation/extension but we're so over the whole delayed building process. We're still waiting on 3 windows! (2 of the openings are sheeted up temporarily, the other has the old window still in place)
I'll post a few photos if I can work out Imgur again.
I'll be trying to complete the building for months to come as I'm rendering it myself which should have been further advanced except we ended up finishing the timber floor ourselves as the floor polisher wouldn't consider any product other than polyurethane. We went with hard wax oil which is beautiful. That added a month to our work load by the time we finish sanded, filled and applied the finish. Then there was the sewer, stormwater, gas.................. never ending building paradise.

As @Gargravarr mentioned its great to have you back posting a SOTD and updating us on the progress of the renovations and do keep us posted as keen to see how it ends up considering the sacrifices you've made!
