Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Platypus P&C LE 2017 26mm Bulb Manchurian White
Soap/Cream:- Mitchell's Wool Fat (tallow)
Razor/Blade:- WCS American Liberty CNC / Gillette Minora Stainless #10
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Fragrance:- Hugo Boss (Original)
 
Brush: Beard & Blade Chubby Progress Vulfix Silvertip
Razor: The Original Phoenix DOC Safety Razor
Blade: A new Astra Superior Platinum I had lying around, which I wish I’d have thrown it out as it was nasty in the DOC, only the second shave with it and I learnt the correct angle gives a great mild shave but any variance on that with the Astra bites … badly on this mature face :(
Lather: Proraso Wood & Spice Shaving Cream
Post shave: Alum and more Alum followed by Witch Hazel Unscented Toner
After shave: Drowned my sorrows in Lucky Tiger Bay Rum After Shave

COTD: Mocha Ismaili selection, Yemen

Second shave with the Yaqi Romulus SE and also using my kill soap+cream combination. The Romulus + Kai blade (6th use) gave a wonderful clean smooth DFS and my hand was more comfortable with the Midas handle which is wider and lighter than the original SS Romulus handle.

Post-shave: Shower, TND witch hazel, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+ Invisible Fluid, Oxford & Cambridge cologne
COTD: Mocha Ismaili selection, Yemen

This cream will be finished tomorrow. I don't think I'll replace it, the lather has a tendency to fall apart if the water is even slightly too hard. It was second best at the time I bought it, the sticks were out of stock. I think I'll get in a couple of sticks of Mike's Natural for this purpose next time.
 
Have enjoyed this setup so much will keep using it until the blade dulls
The Rubie has tamed the WR1OC slightly but still took a few shaves to settle down to a buttery smooth sharp shave.
