Too late in this case, it's already in my blade bin. Which reminds me, that's getting a bit full. Time to do a tip run. (As if my mounting quantity of bottles weren't enough of a reminder ) Incidentally, my hint for dealing with these sharps safely is to put them in an empty dog food or tomato tin or whatever, hammer the top flat, then hammer again to fold the top over and label it "steel sharps". It can then go in the recycling bin for steel cans, and there's no danger of anyone getting hurt.I find carbon blades are easily extended a few shaves with a palm strop
