Shave Result:
The Whispers soap is an excellent Aussie Vegetal performer that is a bit underrated. For me the scent smells like I just walked into a Asian discount store with the Sandalwood, Asian floral and Spicy aroma, scent strength 6/10. Shaved with the Leaf razor with bottom two blades loaded and used the Twig for just cleaning up under the nose, result was a superb clean DFS.

The Gear:

  • Pre Shave: Natio Men Shave Gel [A]
  • Brush: Fuko Shaving “Aqua” 26/53 Maggards B&W [A]
  • Soap: Whispers From The Woods - Hippie Blend [A]
  • Bowl: Whispers From The Woods [A]
  • Razor: Leaf & Twig SE by Leaf Shaving
  • Blade: Sunny Supreme Stainless
  • Splash: TN Dickinsons Witch Hazel with Menthol, T.Tree & Peppermint
  • Balm: Natio Men Calming After Shave [A]
  • After Shave: 4711 Jasmine CDT
  • Moisturiser: Swisse Daily Face Moisturiser for Men [A]

Those razors look amazing, but how do they perform?
This one performs much like my original Shield titanium razor -- smooth and with an efficiency between the RazoRock V3 standard and the Alpha Claymore evolution (or the Blackland Vector, which I find almost identical in efficiency to the Claymore.)
The only difference between the original Shield AC and this pimped out version made for Boti, is I avoid riding the cap as much as possible.

Now there's an interesting case of YMMV. To me, the Vector is vastly more efficient than the Claymore, and a lot less picky about optimal shaving angles. I find there's not a great deal of difference between the Claymore and the RR Hawk V3 other than price and finish.

I have to admit, it took longer than I expected for you to reply @Gargravarr. I agree with some of what you say. The Vector is quite forgiving with respect to the shaving angle. And I totally agree that it's " an interesting case of YMMV."
