Finished this one off in style (maybe not as stylish as @Mark1966 shave @ The Hardiman Hotel in Galway)

Pre-shave:- Shower
Soap:- GEO.F.Trumper's - Spanish Leather
Brush:- Vie-Long 22mm Brown Horse Hair
Razors:- Dorko 424 and Timeless TRBR38 Bronze Solid Bar with Scalloped Head
Blade: Schick Super Stainless (4)
Aftershave:- Henri et Victoria Cognac & Cuban Cigars

Many report the TRBR38 as an aggressive razor even with 0.38 blade gap. I found it very efficient and smooth with enough blade exposure to feel it on sensitive areas ie: lower lip
I think its the weight that makes it aggressive but I like it

First time out with the AoS Sandalwood, the latest addition to my little Valobra collection, a princely gift from @TomG. (y) (y) A very different sandalwood from the usual offerings, this one is spicy and woody, with no hint of sweetness. Sorry about the terrible picture...
Your description of the soap scent is spot on 👍.

I have a feeling this soap is going to become a firm favourite, especially over the winter months. Since the glorious Tasmanian summer has ended with a thump, I guess we have a lot of those to look forward to... 😐

I always like seeing that brush. I love the colours. I wonder if Troy has something similar?

The colours in @Holiday's Kakadu Gold brush look fairly similar to me, so I'd say that's a Yes. (y) :D

The finish on this CaYuen brush looks OK in this picture, but it's nowhere remotely close to the quality of Troy's.

After buying several handles from different makers, I've found that too. There is nothing out there that compares to how good Troy's brush handles are. I've stopped looking anywhere else.

I had a very welcome visit today from the postie.
My shave tonight was sensational.
Brush: Inexpensive well broken in boar.
Soap: Cella Red. I really can see why they have been making soap since the late 1890's. A tradition simple formula with Tallow. It took plenty of water and was great. Skin felt good after as well. I got a 1 kg block as it was not significantly more expensive than a small tub. When my wife saw the block she suggested I might need to get some more incase. She has heard, and understands the shave apocalyps. 1 Kg is about double the cost for about six times more soap. I couldn't give a rats about scent but this is pleasant and is very mild. Bagged in 100g lots and now in the freezer.
The razor: A GEM Streamline. - Wow!! No pressure needed at all. 1 pass with a couple of touch ups and I was done. The design of the head and the blade exposure gave such a supreme comfortable shave. The razor is quite aggressive if you forget what you are holding. I didn't forget.
Post: Isopropyl alcohol splash
Rinse then 3 drops of Olive oil on my palms and spread on my face. Thanks for the suggestion @alfredus all that time ago.
