Shave of the Day Thread - 2023

You know you are alive when you are dragging an extremely sharp knife across your face.

That really sums it up. I have 2 other Kamisori's but they are traditional asymmetric ground. I have wanted a Western style for ages and this one arrived recently.
It is an extremely lively full hollow.

SOTD – Wed 19 April 2023

Shave Result: Stuga soap is hard soap (although not triple milled), so I slice a small portion off the puck (about 1gm) that I press into the bottom of my bowl and moisten. The soap lathered easily into rich, creamy, medium density lather with excellent primary slickness, the residual was OK but could be better, post shave feel was very good, overall a solid performer worth trying. Lather scent has a pleasant aroma of oranges, scent is mid-strength 5/10. First shave with the real RazoRock Mamba razor which felt mild but efficient with very little blade feel, result was a smooth clean DFS.
