Great day, pity about our normal venue closed for business. We did find another close by, nicer I might add and had the pleasure of another straight shaver here in Adelaide joining us. Top day as always.

It's time for our next meet-up. Unfortunately we have to change the venue, as Cafe Becco closed down....

I heard about that. Thriving business but then people started coming in with sharp blades and even sharper tongues. Started talking about bomb making or some such thing, you know, chemical compounds, where to buy commercial quantities of some suspect ingredients, explosions ripping off faces (or something like that).

Customers just got scared and never came back

What type of coffee bean is that ?
Reckon it would not be cheap and leave a bitter aftertaste.

@carlmaloschneider are you keen to try a kamisori? If so, I'll bring one along tomorrow. I'll be bringing one for @boldsworth to try as well.

I'll also bring some jojoba for @bald as and some lavender EO (organic, of course) for @alfredus. Anyone keen for anything else?

Soap went in to the freezer, actually Then I pressed it into a bowl. GREAT soap, I really like it; very soft.
Great conversation, very stimulating
Here's a photo of the DE I was talking about; I really like it - it's really aggressive.
The kamisori was very interesting; made me feel like a beginner again...
