What do you have in the post right now?

Samples and a Timeless bronze open comb.
*fake rages at @Razor Burn* ;) Thanks again for bringing it to the meet.

It's been on my radar for a while due to the R41 comparison (which is currently my daily):

My pleasure mate. I hope you find the right blade to match it as in my experience it's not as aggressive as the R41 but you'll still achieve great shaves once you master it (y)

Ah, well I'll continue blade testing with the R41 (14 blades I have yet to try) as I suspect it's going to be the more picky razor out of the lot in what works. Surprisingly most blades seem to be ok with the R41. A couple excellent ones and a few that I wouldn't even use with the R89.

Well @lerenau got in first, so the Windsor it is. Here are some unboxing shots. Shave review to come tomorrow.

Okay, whilst I don't have a SOTD shot for you guys (my phone died and my charger is at work, this is via my laptop and I can't be dealing with taking photos with a laptop) I thought I'd give some feedback on how I got on with the slant heads and the SE2 head. I loved the Windsor.

First up, I love a slant head. I conducted a (very unscientific) trial using the closed comb on one side and the open comb on the other side of my face. In all honesty, if I had been blindfolded I don't think I could have told the difference. Both were equally smooth and reasonably mild/efficient (think DFS after 3 passes with each). I think that that the OC gave me a bit more irritation, but the reason for that is following. I love OC heads and probably have a bias when I shave with one. I'm going to keep both base plates as I feel that we will get along well. As for the SE2, OMG

Okay, so this was my first time shaving with a fixed head, single edge razor. I also own the OneBlade Core razor (which is another story). I really wanted to love this razor and I couldn't fault the engineering in the slightest. HOWEVER, when I took this to my face and applied the slightest bit of pressure, I'm talking next to nothing as you should, it just stuck on my face and started to dig in. I HATED, every single stroke with this razor. Okay, I was probably doing it all wrong and yes that's my fault, but throughout the shave I was just craving a trusty DE. I tried multiple angles and pressures, but to no avail. After two passes my skin was so irritated (hence the conflict with the OC Slant) and I had numerous razor bumps. I've not shaved for 2 days to let my skin calm down (even though I still had some bumps which caught me out with the S2 head). I get that this was probably all down to my technique and that I should stick with it to learn the ins and outs of this razor, but I also didn't like the size of the head and on the 80mm (correct me if I'm wrong) handles I didn't like the balance. So this one is getting sent back to ATT and i'm replacing it with a standard R1 head. I think that this will suit me much better. As always, YMMV, but for me a no go. build quality, customer service etc. etc. 10/10. shave 4/10.

Some samples from https://www.zoologistperfumes.com/.
I've had these things on my mind for months and I've decided it's easier to just get some than spend so much time thinking about them and wondering.
@Kaeckerut, I'm holding you responsible for introducing me to yet another Aquisition Disorder... *shakes fist* ;)

Hahaha. At least you are getting a brand worth supporting ;)

Interesting.Samples are reasonably priced, but I can't figure out if I want to smell like a Nightingale or a Camel.
Then again, haven't smelled Beaver for a while.

Amazing, you sir are a gent. Appreciated.

Let me know when it lands, its from a friend of a friend. If it gets bounced or leaks heavily en route, I have a backup on the way through someone I know a little better.

Consider it a thank you for those other things.

The things that go in the other thing and should have been included with the other thing will be on their way shortly.

For the Sydney lot, I’ve nearly completed a set of frag samples I’m sending over for you all to have a sniff at a meet. There’s enough for a decent sniffing session and then people to take away and have a few wearings.

Now because I’m a bit of a nob, I’m not labelling them, just a number.
They range from some usual department store stuff to $760 (50ml) Xerjoff Oud Stars Ceylon, if you don’t pick that one out successfully your nose is broken.

That is a very grand gesture and can't wait to sniff everything. Finally get to sniff what all these incredible fragrances that you post about. (y)(y)
Well not all but some of your collection :)
