What do you have in the post right now?

Just arrived this morning:

- 250 Super Iridium (from German seller)

- 100 Nacet (from Jordanian seller)

- 90 Super Iridium (remaining blades from my earlier 100 order sent by Wizashave agent in NSW)

- Tibam titanium handle & stand. Posted just before the invasion, and then sent back to Russian by Deutsche Post, and then sent again by Tibam.

- Gillette NEW Short Comb (re-plated in nickel)

I often use my worst choices of soaps as a possum deterrent on my fruit trees. I doubt if possums are a problem in the Philippines, but I gather they are in NZ. It doesn't always work, but it's worth a try. It may work with other varmints too, it's worth a try... :unsure:

Direct from the manufacturer in Taiwan, a Titan 1918 ACRO T.H.64, Dutch point, 6/8, half hollow, special Japanese stainless steel and dressed in African Ebony timber scales.

Expected delivery is mid-April.

I already have one of these dressed in Madagascan Mahogany scales. It shaves so well that I decided to get another. Different timber for the scales so that I can easily tell them apart.

Like all Titan straight razors direct from the manufacturer, I will need to hone it to my shave-ready standard. For a price of under AUD 80, I don't mind.

The ACRO T.H.64 is the heaviest SR currently in my stable at about 90g (most of my others are about 60g). I actually like a heavier blade at times.

The steel is slightly hardener than most that is used in high carbon steel SR's. This means more laps are required when honing but the blade takes and holds a great edge that lasts much longer.

Back in June 2021 I ordered a Boker Straight razor case from Germany. According to tracking it arrived somewhere in Australia in September 2021. After that, it dropped off the face of the earth and the seller, whilst trying to be helpful was not actually going out of her way to track it down for me. I ended up, despite what it cost me, to write it off as a lost cause in March this year.

Last weekend, I received a message from the seller, it turned up on her doorstep in Germany. Apparently my address was wrong, which would have been her fault as I gave the correct address.

She wanted another $22 to post it back to me which I wasn't impressed with considering it was her mistake but just sent her the money to get it all over and done with.

So for the second time, I have a 7 day set case on it's way to me.
