Day five of the Karve OC A plate done.
It’s a solid performer for sure, but I do get a better shave from the C or D plates. I have the B straight bar so will try to offload this A plate after a clean up. Keep an eye on the appropriate thread if keen.

The soap performance of Stirling is really fantastic and when the hydration is perfect, this soap shines above many others. I have a few more Stirling stuffed away, Weekend In Malibu and glacial Lemon Chill, but the glacial is for random summery super hot shaves as this can’t be used consistently from whoa to go.

The Proraso balm again was a delight to use and the face feel is great.

An overall very great shave to be welcoming in a long weekend...

Congrats Kosta!
How many soaps or creams would you currently have in your @SpeedyPC style military footlocker??

Charcoal Goods, LVL1
Asco blade
Face Fat - Green Fougere
Simpsons Milk Churn

Again, not blown away by the scent on the Face Fat, but very happy with the performance. As for the blade, utter rubbish. With a feather, this razor will easily complete 1 pass for a DFS, but today I had to keep going over patches that the blade just wasn't cutting. This is my first time using an Asco, so I shall try again but am not holding my breath. Anyone else tried Asco blades?

Pre: Pb PSE
Soap: Pb Artemisia
Brush: Vie-Long Horse/Badger
Razor: Eclipse Red Ring
Blade: Gillette Aussie Spoiler (5)
Post: Jojoba Oil
AS: General Ledger
Brilliant combo. Some lovely freshness off Artemisia. When I made it, it made me think of 4711 which was weird as I have had next to nothing to do with it. I wasn't sure if I was having myself on as I couldn't remember the last time I would have smelt it if at all. My wife found a small bottle of 4711 this week and there is some vague similarity.
The Vie-Long is always a pleasure to use. Great little brush.
