Excellent shave tonight. The Wolfman paired with the Astra Blue performed very well for a DFS+. As usual Proraso was easy to lather, slick and I always enjoy the Eucalyptus in Menthol scent. Finally the Proraso balm, just felt cool and refreshing.

I had wanted to get some Squadron soaps for a while and on checking the website, saw that Sweetheart was going to be discontinued. So picked up a tub along with The Warden. I was hesitant about the scent profile of Sweetheart, but on use I really like it. As for performance from the soap, very happy. Whipped a good bowl lather with enough lather for about 5 passes. I still do not like the synthetic, but what with the crappy Melbourne weather, it does dry out easily. I enjoyed the lather and scent so much that I took 3 passes, which I rarely do. End result, BBS, no nicks and zero irritation. Very happy Monday​

Seems to be quite a bit of that here. I bought it because it was going out of stock and the art work. Got it, smelt it, used it now it is in more than regular rotation.

Tried a Persona Platinum blade in the timeless, smooth comfy shave but not quite as sharp as the polsilver. One shaved left till my second ever tub of soap is finished :)

The Gothique is overwhelmingly musty to me with some pepperminty brightness when lathering. Reminded me of an old semi-underground storage room built out of ancient timbers at my grandfathers place. Mrs Pbgoose backed away from the residual post shave scent on my face. Not quite what I had in mind.

Very close and smooth shave today - the Rex is just such a joy to use. I almost forgot how dense and soft this wonderful horse hair brush is - if you are into super badgers, this might be a great alternative for you - and the resulting Stirling lather was just superb.

I tried out this bowl today but to be honest, I like my little white plastic container (from the sweets shop) better for loading up samples.

Should've put in a fresh blade this morning not the smoothest or closest shave but I got there in the end.really starting to like the skyefall as well especially as the raw sharpness mellows over the course of the day into something softer and more nuanced.

Fragrance:- Proraso Wood & Spice
