First time out with MITA and it was sensational. Perfect amount of menthol for me and an amazing lather, in no small part down to the phenomenal Thater brush. Now where's that tequila?

Lather was good but not enough! The down side with this synth is that it's not as bulbous as the shavemac 177 and Envy white, which are my current two favourite brushes now. And as @Psmith pointed out to me previously, I'd definitely enjoy the Thater 4125/2 2band. Either that, or I just need to load longer and hydrate longer. Sometimes the synth does produce an absurd amount of lather.

Shave was good, GSB lasts three shaves for me, like most other DE blades I have, with the exception of the Vintage Polsilver. They are amazing.

Beaudelaire is my favourite scent from B&M to date. Lovely sophisticated.

Breaking out the Lavender

Sudsy Soapery Lavender & Peppermint Oil
Diptyque Vetyverio

I've been enjoying the same approximate combination all week. The super efficient open comb Fatip gives a great close shave. Also the Sudsy Soapery oils for post shave. This time it's the Lavender & Peppermint version which combined nicely with the Mike's soap and the Vetyverio which is heavy on the lavender.
