AusFarce or AusFantastic?

2 days is exceptional, even for Express Post in my experience.

However I now feel I gyped @vanNek somewhat as I only sent his return package via snail mail.

Don't stress good sir! I sent it express as I was late! And there was no great cost difference. Mainly wanted the tracking number to keep tabs on the blighters!

"No half measures......"

Again Auspost surprised me. Order my new PAS for abseiling on Friday, via snail mail from Brissy & got it this morning!!!!

I don't like bagging our national organisations or Authorities but I'm left wondering occasionally. Receiving a package from @filobiblic and noted a package arrived "in town" at 10:15pm Wednesday evening. Figured I may get this Thursday but more likely on Friday as I live 15 minutes drive from the West End depot in town and my work (destination) has another major Aus Post processing depot 2 minutes walk away and my packages are usually brought by a young lady pushing a trolley/basket. To my surprise (well, not really) 18 hours later it gets "processed" through the exact same facility. Hopefully on Monday.

West End, Townsville must be the Northern point of Australia's Bermuda Triangle, Cullora from all reports being another point. Keep your eyes peeled for that 3rd corner.

Bouncing around on the West End conveyor belt having the time of its life.

Fingers crossed for Monday!

Australia Post strikes again.

Parcel from ShipItTo has been sitting at Granville NSW since last Tuesday (4/10) and has not moved :(

I have tried contacting Australia POst and they don't care LOL

A brief heads-up about the ongoing Australian Border Force action - international incoming packages may be delayed according to Aust Post website.

Which is just fantastic, I have 2 new Google Pixel Phones inbound and nothing like a serious industrial dispute makes me happier

I thought that once the item scanned at one of the sorting facilities it has passed through customs.....

Yes, in that case I would say that is correct. Providing it has passed the customs/bonded cargo area.

How long does Mystic Waters Orders typically take? I'm two weeks so I'm not exactly over due but wondering now you mention delays...

For some reason they think that I may see the item this week but the lack of information that they provide is appalling.

I am about ready to write the item off as lost forever. Then I have to try and lodge a claim with ShipItTo.

My guess is that I have basically flushed my $400 down the drain.

Ok hold up... now I get the full picture - I was not sure of the context but read up previous posts. My error!

I have had shipments from the US via shipitto sit for 1.5 weeks in Australia before being delivered, I would not give up hope just yet.

To be honest Australia Post is abysmal with tracking, if you are using shipito I would go to the console, get the tracking number and use the USPS tracking code (It works within Australia btw) and includes much more information on tracking than Aust Post which is horrendous.

I have had up to 25 days from Mystic with around 16 to 18 being the norm for me in Sydney, NSW. She uses international 1st class but not priority 1st class.

Aiyah! I didn't have a clue about this...
I've got a parcel that's overdue from Spain (coming up to 3 weeks tomorrow) so there's a good chance it's been messed around by this. *sigh*

I used the "ShipItTo preferred carrier option" it is usually the method I prefer to use (not sure why I bother though).

Looks like one of the idiots at Granville has managed to scan it once again this afternoon. So the parcel has just been hanging around at the Granville sorting facility for the last week. Then to further exasperate things they think it is OK to change the estimated delivery date on the tracking website. My guess is that on their KPI's it then looks like it was delivered on time when it will actually be about a week late.
