Clothes.

Trying some jeans from R B Sellers (who somebody here got me on to) because I like their casual trousers and the R M Williams jeans I used to get on sale at 2 for $150 are now 2 for $200 :(

Figured I'd try their shirts and a jumper too. Their end of season sales do have some significant reductions.

I should say the scent longevity was around 3 hrs today, but I've been running around at a park after kids so would have shortened it.

High then. Good to know, thanks. I do love a musk, so was disappointed on missing out on Night Music but then I blame myself because I had some in my cart but couldn't bring myself to pay the high price for it.

Mail Call: Semogue 620
Stopped by my work this afternoon to pick up this little beauty that I missed on Friday. I chose this one because I like face lathering and I've heard the 620 is a good brush for that.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it improves with use and seeing what this whole boar brush thing is about!

This brush looks so nice so I'm thinking about buying it for myself even if I've got Semogue 1305.

Got this bad boy this morning. Made my Monday sooo much better!

Just off the puck the scent is really very strong. Very smokey and leathery (although less pronounced) with a soap-y base (? Im thinking this will fade over time and the juniper might creep in). Can't wait to give it a lather this evening and see how it performs!

Only thing is that the tub seems a little under filled (more like 2 1/2 to 3 oz than the specified 4oz) - Im not overly bothered by this. I have enough soap to last me the next 20 years already!

Nice pickup - great soap!

I'd be surprised if it was underfilled though - I think they are pretty on top of things like that and provide plenty of room to lather intentionally.

I'd be surprised too! But it really just seems noticeably less than my other 4 oz pucks. Not that I mind, I'm sure I'll be impressed once it lathers.

Here it is compared to my 3-4x lathered Lavanille. Just seems a bit less?

Interesting - I'll have to weigh my container when I finish it to find out with my next one!

Weigh it... Sure there's the plastic tub to consider, but you should get confirmation. If you think it's less with a visual inspection, then weighing it will be able to confirm/reject it.

Didn't P&B acknowledge they had issues with under weight pucks?

I didn't hear that.... Not good if that's the case! From what I understand, Australian Law would mean that we are entitled to either money back or exchange for the item described. I think both are at cost to the seller. Am I correct @todras @Mark1966 ?

Maggards is selling them at discount for this reason. I think one of their soap reviews on maggards provides a fair bit of info on it. I would be weighing it and then contacting p&b if it is under to see what they will do.
