Mrs and I went to dinner last night with daughter and son-in-law who recommended an Indian beer - Kingfisher. Apparently, it's their (Indian, not daughter and husband) premium beer. A nice drop which reminds me of IPA.

The tasting notes are pretty spot on. Soft vanilla, creme brulee, and biscotti characters, layered over distinct notes of pear, coconut and buttery macadamia. It’s also a 700ml, so none of that 500ml …
If you like a Bruichladdie then you will like this. Jim McEwan had a hand in this creation. Only 1 caveat. You open the bottle turn around and it’s 1/2 gone.

I'm not normally a whiskey drinker but I bought a bottle of NEDS to take camping a while ago and enjoyed that. I made have to have a look at this one.A great Australian whisky that doesn't break the bank. It's very similar to the Classic Laddie.
