I love this stuff. My bottle is much emptier than yours... Bas-Armagnac and Armagnac are much more complex and interesting than that Cognac swill.
The big plus is that the whisky crowd havn't figured out how good it is yet.I love this stuff. My bottle is much emptier than yours... Bas-Armagnac and Armagnac are much more complex and interesting than that Cognac swill.
Ssshhhh... It'll only take one idiot journalist to write it up and we won't be able to afford it anymore. Bitter memories of when Wynn's Coonawarra Hermitage used to be $4 in the bargain bin in Nedlands (in the late 80s) until someone wrote it up and it was 5 times as expensive the next day.The big plus is that the whisky crowd havn't figured out how good it is yet.
A really nice Calvados.
I have started training for the BJCP. We have done two sessions and are through light lagers, Czech lagers and European light and dark lagers. Euro heavy lagers coming up.
https://www.bjcp.org/ it's proper study with exams.
Its underrated, thats for sure. If you like a good cidre you can't go wrong.Good to see the old Calva getting a mention. I've just finished an old bottle of Père Magloire. A habit I acquired in my late teens and never grew out of.
Maybe wait and see if I get through the training and pass the exams. Should be around Sept.result in a special label
