Interest in a P&C group buy???

Fair enough. I've got to get it passed by the minister for finance also, but if I pitch it as a birthday idea I can usually get away with a big ticket item - even if it becomes a part of my Christmas present...
Mate, my recurring nightmare is that I die and my wife sells my guitars, banjos and shave gear for what I've told her they're worth.

Yeah see I've thought about this. In the end, what do I care? I'm dead!!

@Sxot good luck ;) let hope it not too soon :unsure::cautious::censored:

No way I can justify those sort of dollars on a shaving brush, but glad it's happening and hope you fellers get something unique that everyone's happy with!

I am in, I have a shavemac 24mm two band bulb already, this time I would go 24 or 26mm two band fan.

My Shavemac is blue so I might be keen on a different colour this time.

@alfredus if you have any contact with Pladdin let me know, I seem to always miss out on their brushes.

I can't justify the spending you lot do. If the wife hadn't been out of work for nearly 2 years due to looking after the little one I might have been able to swing it.
As it is, the minister for finance would go to war over such an action.
Sounds like the Minister for Marketing is failing his portfolio!
Surely you've celebrations within the remainder of the year, where she would begrudgingly gift you something.
Trade something as a surprise for something you desire, yet have to wait for ;)

Looks like a solid turn out - I will wait a day or two more, before reaching out to some people...

@alfredus - shavemac
@Sxot - shavemac
@cranky - shavemac 2-band ST Fan 24mm
@SpeedyPC - shavemac 2-band ST Fan 26mm
@filobiblic - shavemac 2-band ST Bulb 24-26mm
@saku39 - shavemac 2-band ST Fan 24-26mm
@Normie
@Hocky27
@Psmith - potentially
@Korbz - Thater, Paldin - shavemac acceptable
@SydBJW - shavemac 2-band ST Fan 24-26mm - not blue
@MrT - shavemac 2-band ST bulb 24mm

How big can we go?
Are we able to choose knot, handle etc?
Sorry @borked - you know I love big brushes, but it seems like the majority wants 24-26 - so I will keep it there

Looks like I picked the wrong year to quit buying things :(
You my friend will definitely get one - not to worry ;)

Alfredus has approval to get interest and pricing. It would be good to have a somewhat customised handle but not essential.

He has the experience to know what we are after for a group buy (y)

Any suggestions on the customised handle? Any anniversary of the forum?

Oh, the guy on sabbatical is allowed into the "NO Borked's club"...
Bad enough FB discriminates against Borked's, yet P&C as well?
:(

@Monsta_AU joined this forum in Jan 2011 - so it is 5 years?

As for handle - let me talk to some people first and see what is possible...

Mate, what's the most opulent brush you've experienced?

No discrimination my friend - just trying to get something, that every one likes - and from your replay I wasn't sure if 24-26mm is OK - say the word and you are on the list - I assume the same goes for @Monsta_AU???

You guys are posting faster than I can update - as for @Lifes a Peach - he might get the brush in 2017 - but I will make sure he gets one ;)

Mate, I'm aware of that and my comment was made with a light heart :)
It was a tribute towards a vintage Simpson's episode ;)

It really depends upon final price, handle design and total height for me tbh.
Can we at least aim for a minimum of 125mm total height?
I'd like to suggest a clear handle with a deep bright blue smoked effect within and knot sabot.
A Polo/M7 crossed with a Thäter 49215 would be ideal imo :)
Nice height, nice width to get a good grip, some edges running along the vertical plane to also aid grip and finger positioning and the concave part of the Polo/M7 to reduce soapy fingers.

Yes, we have been going for 5 years.... been a bit slow to get going but we are moving along nicely now.

I have a bit of gear lying around now I rarely use, but if it is going to be labelled then put me in as a tenative. Depends on pricing but I would be interested.
