Whilst I am committed to my MdC Fougere for the rest of this year (I have not faultered), I also wanted to jump on this bandwagon:


Tropical Colada and Frankinscents. I'm a fan of the scent of the Tropical colada (off the puck), but am less drawn to the Frankinscents. Wish I'd waited for the lavender to be put down.

The scent on the Frankinscents will come through more once you lather it up.

There's nothing that says you actually have to shave with it, you could always lather it up just for fun, or for the shower, as well as enjoying your MdC shave...

I didn't shave yesterday and I had that exact thought. Resisted temptation though. I don't think that the MdC will last the whole year, so I may be able to get into it sooner than thought. P.S. happy birthday

Yeah, they are great. I have 3 of them now. Actually never tried any other badger... so I can’t compare to anything else.

Old Type set single ring 3 piece razor.
Thin cap and early example in standard case. Outside case excellent condition and blade banks sparkle. This is pre clean up straight out of mailer. Original early blades included with three dot pattern and Pat 1905 on them

Yeah, gone it seems. I think it came in a few configurations. Badger as above and synth. They seem to have a number of limited runs. Sold I think only off the Simpson site. Please correct me if I’m wrong Simpson , hmm I mean fans.

I have an inkling that WS stick may be out of production; it is not listed on their German website and several European sellers are out of stock. So, I bought another two from VSHOD
