This beauty arrived yesterday.

NOS?

Very surprising day indeed today. Totally unexpected mail calls, and I might need some help and guidance @silver @Draco Noir with this one.

Big thanks to @King of Authentic Shave for the Derby samples :) Will be sure to post a review.

Kamisori was a gift from a work mate for my B'day, that he picked up in Japan last week.

You have an excellent work mate. Keep him! Mine is a symmetrical grind. I heard the traditional ones are quite hard to deal with. Plus I'm a left hander, so the traditional ones are built for right hander.
But, it's only hear say, might not be the case for you. Please keep us updated on your SOTD.

I love my kami, and I am sure you will enjoy yours. Congrats as you have an amazing work mate.

Well I'm not sure that it is equal to the magnificent pieces above but I must say I'm VERY impressed with Nicks - https://www.nicks.com.au/

Ordered Saturday (qualified for free postage)
Dispatched Monday from MEL
Awaiting me when I got home tonight in CBR
Already tasted a couple of glasses worth of the rum

To Canberra THAT is impressive

Excellent. Nicks is my go to for liquors. If you like rum, do check out Diplomatico Reserva from Venezuela. Lovely stuff.

I don't know about "hard to deal with" although they do require extra thought. They are designed to be used in one hand only and as such only one side of the blade is against your face. This means the use of is no different to a symmetrical other than you need to learn new hand positions to get where you need to go. That said, there is no reason why you cannot use both sides/both hands and the only difficulty then is remembering the angle is different on each side. So go by feel, not visual queues and that is not a problem either.

Two? Both for you?
I nearly bought a second for "just in case" but I figured the one I have will last and they will both rot at the same rate so it's not like one will outlive the other by any significant margin.
