'61 Fatboy (5 & 2 on neck)
Permasharp (1)
Proraso Green splash

Only 2nd shave with a Fatboy and had an absolute blast. Made me realise that the 39c might be too much on the lower neck, and considering switching up to the iKon #102 next year.

Preshave: Proraso Red
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89 with Windrose Handle
Blade: Polsilver SI
Brush : Shavemac 177 Black
Soap: Castle Forbes Cream
Post Shave: Razorock Limes aftershave milk(Thanks @Draco Noir ) and Floid Vigoroso
First time I had to shave a three day growth as a wet shaver. Three pass shave with no cuts or nicks or irritation. The Castle Forbes is an excellent cream that produces a thick , creamy lather with great protection during the shave. Achieved BBS without even thinking about it, just enjoyed the shave.

Face Wash : Musgo Real Menthol Lime Glycerine Soap
Pre-Shave : Myrsol Emulsion
Brush : Shavemac Silvertip D01
Soap : e-Shave Orange Sandalwood Cream
Razor : Hoshi Tombo 4000
After Shave : Argan Oil, Floid Vigoroso

The e-Shave cream really is a cream, not a croap. First try, I put hopelessly too much of it on the brush and ended up with a face lather trainwreck. Washed it all off and started again, and managed a nice well hydrated lather.

I just love this little Hoshi Tombo 4000 - it's like driving a Cooper-S : fantastic performance and handling in a very small package. I makes detailing sideburns and moustache a breeze, while taking care of the main event brilliantly. I ended up with a very satisfying result and enjoyed every bit of it.

Finished off with the usual Argan Oil, then an ample splash of the newly acquired Floid Vigoroso. All in all a super start to the week...

Brush: Shavemac #177
Soap: Saponifico Varesino Arctic Tundra
Razor: ABC 6/8
After-shave: Alt Innsbruck EdC

A great shave! Very happy with this simple blade- Japanese made square point. A good size for me. Soap was beautiful to shave with. The Alt Innsbruck smells great. Happy days!

How do you find the Nanny's Bamboo & White Grape with Goat's milk? I've had mine for a while but interested in your thoughts.
I'm not being very verbose these days am I? This is the signature range of soap which I have found to be better than the others. I managed to mess the lather up I think with a bit too much water. Seemed fine for the first pass then went bubbly and broke down after that. The scent on this is ok but smells a bit like ladies shampoo. What do you think of it?

My turn.
How does that soap smell? Good? Strong? I'm seriously tempted by it even though I'm trying not to buy anything at the moment. What do you think of the AI?

It seems to be a constant theme with you Stillsy... You and the BST are besties! [emoji12]
What can I say, I like to share the love. Also keeping the shaving going over keeps the cabinet fresh...imagine if we all did it? (you hear me OK up there on the balcony?)

Very smick morning shave

Brush: Rooney Heritage Super Badger
Soap: Santa Maria Novella
Razor: Standard (Thank you @Draco Noir )
Blade: Feather
After-shave: Thayers & Proraso

Thanks @Young Buck for the loan of the Rooney and a taste of Santa Maria Novella. Oh, and the coffee was great :)
The scent of SMN is...mmm...OK...but the slickness and protection are exceptional. The Rooney has a wonderful knot and handle.
Once my bogey blade, the Feather and I are now getting along just nicely (y)

Great way to close the year mate.
Oh I remember the Standard so well. Big thanks to @filobiblic for the trial , an absolute gem with a Feather loaded! I found it the smoothest shaver to get so close....until I tried the AS-D2. They were both well, well up there.

Great now I want need to try the SMN

It's been an awesome year

The Standard is SO underrated. It's a joy to use and tames those Feathers just nicely. You summed it up perfectly with "smoothest".

Way to go Filo! For mine, Japanese razors sit right up at the top of the Value for Money podium. It's genuinely hard to buy a crappy one, and the range of brands and styles is simply awesome. It's great to see someone else who has discovered them too! When you said "A good size for me", what size are you talking mate?

I prefer the 6/8 over the smaller sizes. And it also seems to be more manuverable for me than the larger blades I have tried (not many though).
