Pre: GFT lime skin food
Brush: Shavemac 177
Soap: SdM
Razor: PAA DOC
Blade: GSB
Post: alum, witch hazel, Myrsol Plastic shave

Encore. Did better than last night but still not to my liking. I think I'll leave three bands to softer soaps. I get better lather from boars, horse and possibly two bands with hard pucks. Love it's scent though. Smell like Cleopatra, some how.

Same setting for tomorrow, only change would be the brush, possible razor but not blade, and final aftershave.

Then, Eufros Jabonman Friday for me.

Pre Shave: - Proraso White
Razor: - Wahl Shavette
Blade: - Feather (2)
Brush: - Razorock Bruce
Soap/Cream: - "Vintage" SH Eucalyptus & Lavender
Post Shave: - Razorock King Louie Lavender

"No half measures......"

Cold water shave
Soap: Shaver Heaven Spiced Mahogany
Brush: Edwin Jagger badger
Face lather
Razor: Inoue Fujisuke 18mm x 42mm traditional Japanese cut kami

I only drag this blade down once every 4-8 weeks. I really should use it more often. A great razor for getting into those tight spots and hollows on the neck and jaw-line. The Spiced Mahogany has a great scent and lathers really well like all of @Anthony's soaps. A good all-around shave that could have been closer if I practised with this blade more often. Good shave.

Pre: Hot Shower
Brush: Semogue 620
Soap: Crown King Steeplechase
Razor: EJ DE8911
Blade: Shark SC (2)
Post: witch hazel, TSW ASB

Good shave tonight. Gave the Shark SC another run but I still prefer the Voshkod or Astra SP so far in my early DE career, so will probably store these for trial in a more efficient razor down the track. Also getting to the end of the Crown King and TSW balm samples, both performed brilliantly tonight.

Brush: omega 10005
Soap: Proraso green soap
Razor: Gillette slim (5)
Blade: London Bridge / Wilkinson (9-11 shaves. Can't remember)
Post: Aqua velva

Yesterday's first pass seems to have been an anomaly, no issues with the London bridge blade at all today.

I've only used the proraso soap a couple of times previously as I still have a tube of the original formula green cream that I'm slowly getting through. It may be mass produced, and the scent may but be everyone's cup of tea but it's still a great performer and really not that far off some of the soaps you lot swoon over.

Razor: Gillette 'Fatboy' Adjustable (5)
Blade: Vintage Schick Superior Platinum (4)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch distressed Culmal reknotted with TGN finest
Soap/Cream: Mike's Natural Shaving Soaps - Barbershop
Aftershave: Captain's Choice Cat 'o' Nine Tails

Yes, yes, yes, I will make a choice soon ...

The Mike's is so good though and so easy to lather, can I ever use anything else now?

What have you done @Lifes a Peach ...

Mike's is good! I never rated it until @alfredus kindly passed on a 'how to lather tip'. That gem of advice changed Mike's and just about every other hard soap that I use.

I went to Czech & Speake. Just as good but you now have me hankering for Mike's. It's up this morning (y)

Razor: - Merkur 34C
Blade: - Polsilver Super Iridium (1)
Brush: - Semogue SOC 2 Band Finest Badger
Soap/Cream: - Haslinger Sheeps Milk & Lanolin (very similar to MWF)
Post Shave: - Alum Block / T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent / Tabac Aftershave Balm
Fragrance: - Tabac Cologne

Early sunny cold morning 3 pass shave with a Merkur 34C, man! this razor is mild to aggressive shave with a couple of small nick under the neck and it seem I've lost my skills with the Merkur 34C short handle since I've been using the Razorock Mission. I'm glad the Alum Block gave me a nice bloody wake up call in the morning before Freddy Krueger come out to get me before sun rise, finished off with the T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent very nicely long with the Tabac Aftershave Balm and 5mins later and then wack on some sexy Tabac Cologne for a beautiful sunny morning.

Brush: Vintage Butterscotch Simpson #5 Best Badger
Soap: Shaver Heaven - Bay Rum
Blade: Magnetic Platypus. 5/8 "Extra Hollow"
Post: Thayers, PAA - Malbolge

Thoroughly enjoyed the shave today. It's been a while since I have used the Platypus and I don't remember it being this good. Very light and nimble. Brush is so so soft but could use some backbone. Still, love using it because it's like putting your face into a cloud.

Preshave: PAA Ice Soap and Proraso Red preshave cream
Razor: Standard
Blade: Feather(1)
Brush: Simpsons Commodore X2
Soap: Dr Jon's Anne Bonny
Post Shave: Gummy Balm and Dr Jon's Anne Bonny AS
Two pass shave because the razor-blade combination is that good. Not your typical bay rum scent but I like the limes and tea that comes through and a good performing soap with adequate protection. Topped off with the splash.

This past month and certainly given me a renewed appreciation for Mike's. It has gotten a little lost in the new wave of artisan soaps but definitely holds its own performance wise - so easy to get a great lather the last week or two particularly.

Brush: Semogue Mistura
Soap:
Mike's Orange, Cedarwood, & Black Pepper
Razor:
Razorock Stealth Slant
Blade: Personna Med Prep
Aftershave: Thayers and Myrsol Agua Balsamica

Thanks to @Mark1966 's early morning call out and Mike's was an easy choice for this morning's lathering up.

Spot on! Had a chat with @Draco Noir earlier today and I used a different expression to describe my fondness of Mikes especially after 30 days with Speick.. It punches exceptionally well above it's weight for a soap that costs around $US11. Right up there with the more expensive soaps.

@Lifes a Peach how your Razorock Stealth Slant coming along throughout your shave? since I own a Razorock Mission ;)
