4 days growth gone in a single pass. I think this is the most efficient and comfortable DE I have ever used. Love the Jabonman soap & AS milk combo as others have highlighted. Happy days!

That appears to e a fairly intense blade gap :) Blade on a stick :)

Steve

I could say it's the angle, but it is a bit large... [emoji16] That said, the blade is held very rigid (which is what some say is what gives most slant razors their efficiency- not the angle). It's also very comfortable and you can't feel the blade due to the way the head is constructed. It's a very unique 4 piece razor...

Preshave: Musgo real Glyce soap and Proraso sandalwood preshave cream
Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89
Blade: Polsilver SI
Brush: Maggards Synthetic
Soap: Razorock XXX
Post shave: Top Seven emulsion and Fine American blend AS
Three pass shave of smooth enjoyment. The Razorock XXX has a beautiful scent and has great performance. Before I knew it the shave was over. Definitely lost in the moment and all my troubles were gone. Now back to reality. Happy shaves.

Pre-Shave - Shower & Proraso White
Brush: - WhippedDog 24/48mm Silvertip in Black Resin Handle
Soap/Cream: - Mike's Natural Shaving Soap - Hungarian Lavender
Razor: - Muhle R89 with a iKon Bamboo Handle
Blade: - Polsilver Super Iridium (1)
Post Shave: - Alum Block / The Stray Whisker Aftershave Balm

I'm loving the WhippedDog so much and thanks to Larry for making my day very enjoyable, and here a picture showing you the bloom after my shave using this brush for the first time and my brother is having a ball with the same size knot in Navy Blue.

Before I plan to use the Muhle R41 soon I've decided to used the iKon Bamboo handle on the Muhle R89 so I can get a good feel of the weight of this handle, and this is the same handle I will be attaching to Muhle R41 in next shave very soon.

Pre: GFT Lime Skin Food
Brush: Shavemac 177
Soap: Stirling Ozark Mountain
Razor: Standard
Blade: Feather
Post: Alum, Calendula Toner, B&M Arctique

Fantastic lather achieved today, but I reckon I could get it better. I did shake out a lot of excess water off the brush before I start loading, which I usually don't. Lather Shot here. We'll give it another go with a wetter brush. The lather just feels so fat and protective, so much slickness, I can easily go over the same spot a couple of times. I am glad I bought a Stirling, truly impressed.

Standard, nothing much more could be said about this razor that I haven't already. Great blade feel, light touches are all you need to achieve a smooth razor. Most comfortable razor when paired with a Feather.

Finished with an Arctique Blast, really should use this in summer.

2 pass super comfortable DFS with freshly honed Bengall on my Coticule and oil.

Brush home built 24mm boar
Scuttle
Mike's Lavender
Wait for it :)
As a kid growing up in the 50/60's a very popular toilet disinfectant was a particular lavender blend. People complain about Arko but it has nothing on the memory stimulus of Mike's lavender.

Excellent soap - for me an awful sensory experience.

The next group buy if there is one for Mike's I will definitely get another of his soap to try.

You guys should definitely get some Mike's - it is really fantastic. I did the last one for Adelaide/Melbourne members and I think every one was happy...

Razor: Weber Polished Head on Bulldog Handle
Blade: Astra Superior Stainless (3)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson H2 boar
Soap/Cream: Mike's Natural Shaving Soaps - Barbershop
Aftershave: Ogallala Bay Rum with Limes and Peppercorns

How could you beat the Mystic Water Sardinian Honey? Well you can't, so you don't try - you go with a reliable stable, top performer, Mike's

Astra still going strong, Mike's great, Ogallala sensational.

Happy hump day!

Pre: Castle Forbes the Pre-Shave
Brush: Simpson CH1
Razor: Progress,3.5,Feather
Cream: Castle Forbes Cedar Sandalwood
Post: Castle Forbes Cedar Sandalwood Balm

A fantastic close winter shave with one of my top creams, the usual 2 pass delivering the BBS I was after. A great scent from the CF as can be expected and the cream performed superbly as always both during and particularly with the post-shave feel. Due to the cost of shipping I am sparing with the CF shaves but always glad when I break it out.

Pre: Blind Barber Facewash
Brush: Semogue 610
Soap: Cella
Razor: Rockwell 6S (5)
Blade: GSB (1)
Post: Myrsol Formula C

I've been using top end artisan brushes and soaps recently, but today decided to roll out the Cella, which I think calls for a boar brush. This really is a great soap. Everyone should have some of this (as long as you like the scent, which I do). Rockwell performed as well as always. It really is special.
