Pre:La Toja Pre-shave soap
Brush: Occam's Silvertip
Razor: Progress,3.5,Feather
Soap: Stirling Sandalwood
Post: GFT Sandalwood Skinfood/Stirling Sandalwood Balm

Warm, deep sandalwood this morning as the rain falls again. Followed up the post shave with a little GFT for some sweetness to offset the smoky deep sandalwood of the Stirling Balm. A pleasant shave and one day closer to the weekend.

Although I do feel that the vegan soap does some what lose out to the lanolin and tallow soaps that I adore so much.

Are you seeing the light

Pre: GFT Lime Skin Food
Brush: Chubby 2
Soap: MdC
Razor: Standard
Blade: Feather
Post: Alum, Witch Hazel, Ogallala Lime and Peppercorn

Great lather created with the Chubby 2.
Although I do feel that the vegan soap does some what lose out to the lanolin and tallow soaps that I adore so much. Killer scent though, absolutely amazing.

Finished the shave with extraordinary zen-ness. Ogallala is just fantastic, burns a little when applied, but glorious skin feel after wards.

@silver, did you get the Ogallala Lime and Peppercorn in Australia? If so, where?

Thanks mate :)

Brush: M7
Razor: Valet
Blade: Feather SE
Soap: Jabonman Brisa de Oriente
A/S: Jabonman Balm and Old Spice

It's been a while since I used the Valet. A great shaver, very efficient and provided I'm gentle and apply no pressure it's quite mild.

I have a little touch of Coticule honed razor love tonight after skating on oil. It was a sought of Belgian-Russian get together on a rugged Australian whiskered landscape for 2 passes of absolute shaving bliss. Hope I didn't understate that :)

Scuttle lathered with Mike's **Lavender ** using my home made 24mm Boar brush.

Not much else to say really, just super satisfied. :)

Pre: Musgo Real Lime Oil Soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Soap: MWF
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Feather (4)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
A/S: B&M Arctique

Christened the Chubby 2 tonight. Wow - so much backbone; yet so soft. Still a bit tight and hogging lather, but still had great suds from the MWF. As I've done previously, I got a bit greedy with the passes, as the lather was so luxurious. Thus, a very close shave, but some minor razor burn on my neck. Skin was feeling wonderful after the Myrsols, so decided to go the Arctique. It is the first time I've used directly after shaving, and whilst I loved the menthol, my neck didn't. Seems I'm a wee bit sensitive with this product on sensitive areas directly after shaving. No probs - a quick smear of emulsion and all was good.

What are your thoughts on that Fine Superlite @filobiblic ? I have been eyeing it off and may get one depending on how I go with the Merkur 45c from the P&C travelling box.

It's on loan from @DrBob

I haven't used it enough for a decent review, but I can comment on my experience so far: it's very light and I prefer more heft; but it shaves well enough. I'm not going to get one.

I'm not a fan of the slant razors (I much prefer the OC). My preferred slant would be the iKon #102. (@Leisureguy really likes the soon-to-be-released iKon X3 over the latest Razorock Wonderbar -which is a trimmed Stealth Slant.)

@Draco Noir @Psmith and a few others also have the Fine Superlite and so could comment on their experience.

Traveling with a KamiRazor

Still on the road, still shaving with this Mastro Livi KamiRazor with a blade made of CarboInox and abalone mother of pearl scales. After quite a long time, I used Aquagena shaving stick and, although it is a handy soap when you travel, it is however not my favorite soap. It is not so bad, however it is not that good as well. The heat of this period makes me want to use refreshing aftershaves and, in this regard, my Thyrrenus provides that super cooling and freezing effect I need for my skin.
  • Pre-Shave: RazorGuy Pre-Shave Oil
  • Soap: Aquagena Shaving Soap
  • Brush: Omega Bristle #89
  • Bowl: Chinese Bowl
  • Strop: Mastro Livi Travel Loom Strop and Hand Palm
  • Razor: Mastro Livi CarboInox KamiRazor "Perugia", 13/16 Full Hollow, Snake Point
  • Post-Shave: Alum Block
  • Post-Shave: Umbria Extravirgin Olive Oil
  • After Shave: RazorGuy Thyrrenus

Pre: GFT Limes Skin Food (ordered some Antesol today!)
Brush: Epsilon Brown Horse Hair
Soap: Shaverheaven Spiced Mahogany
Razor: iKon B1 Slant
Blade: PSI
Post: Alum, Witch Hazel, Myrsol Plastic Shave

The more I use the Epsilon, the more I start to appreciate it more. It's definitely a little scritchy, but it's a nice brush to have in the arsenal. Face feel is very different in a good way.
Lather is indeed great. Expect nothing less from SH. However, I am more into the Drogon Noir scent, rather than the spiced mahogany. Oh no! The doughnut has formed, I can see the bottom of the tub now. Time to shop shop.

Slant is great, 2 pass plus touch up, wonderfully close without irritation. Although I scored two minor nicks, that's just me holding it too steep of an angle ATG.
Finished with the usuals, and I am really loving the Myrsols. I have added another to the armada today, would arrive in say, 3-4 weeks?

@silver - you will love the Antesol. I smash it into my mug aggressively pre and post - smells great and your face will love it.

I was contemplating between the emulsion or the Antesol. But ultimately decided on the Antesol. I should have asked your opinion! Since you have the full fleet. The Myrsols are great aren't they.

Yep - very impressed with the range. Thankful to the members of this Forum for putting me onto them.
If you get around to trying the emulsion, you will be equally impressed.
