LPL so good it got a repeat run!

The Pen's Halfeti a great closing touch - nice, nice, nice

Off to do a Moot Court assessment piece now for Criminal Law. Normally done at the end of the unit when you have covered all the material because of the lecturer's travel we are doing it at the end of the first (intensive) week after 1 1/2 evening's of material. Hmmm, interesting ...

Don't worry - only worth 25% of the marks in the unit!

Time for Taylors on this brisk Saturday morning. An old favourite of mine that always takes care of my skin, although it should be noted not providing as much cushion as one would expect for a 'sensitive' cream, the scent none the less is always thoroughly pleasant and the post shave milk soothing. I love my Saturday morning shaves, I find myself taking that extra bit of time to enjoy the experience going with my usual WTG XTG (both directions) pass. The Jerymn St stick deodorant pictured works well with the creams and despite the initial cost tends to last months and months, it's scent is very close to the cream for those interested.

The reason I practice property law and not criminal :sneaky:

@alfredus you've already told me about Mike's Bay Rum so I'm asking what's Stirling Bay Rum like any good ?, and if so which Bay Rum soap which you choose over all throughout you're shave.

Cheers ;)
Mike's is more spicy, Stirling more sweet. I love them both - please don't make me choose :ROFLMAO:

I wish, I had you here mate - you can't believe how many issues I've had here in the past year - and now my new neighbour wants to tear down the wall in our backyard and force us to say yes to everything :cry::cry:

LOL - yeah but Criminal is kinda interesting too :)

As defence we were largely responding to prosecution arguments and being a control freak I like to have EVERYTHING nailed down but we seemed to do OK. The challenge of thinking on your feet in those situations is kinda fun :)

Criminal Law is interesting, in NSW it is also quite difficult and stands out as being in most cases decidedly underpaid.

A long forgotten Law Prof's remark often of the necessity of "being superb on his feet" comes to mind, referring to the quality of an exceptional Criminal Defence lawyer cultivating, and having the ability to think, reason and articulate persuasive rhetoric, before his/her honour while "on foot". The inverse being "exceptional behind a pen" reserved for those who litigate and defend exceptionally based on an expert understanding and library of law. The two types were most often mutually exclusive strengths and still are in contemporary criminal law particularly.

Glad you are enjoying studying the law though, I always did and still do really enjoy learning news things of "the strange old beast" as it's commonly referred.

Ill drop you a PM after dinner, not sure what state you are in or indeed if I can assist in any manner (pro bono ofc) but you never know @alfredus

Late for a Saturday shave: 2:30pm,

Cold water shave
Brush: Edwin Jagger badger
Soap: Shaver Heaven Vetiver & Neroli (blue tub)
Face lather
Blade: Joseph Rodgers & Sons 6/8 wedge
3 pass shave
Alum followed by Pinaud Clubman

Good lather; Would you really expect anything less from @Anthony? This wedge is sharp & smooth. Another great shave. Finished 3 passes all good and noticed a little patch on my chin I'd missed; you guessed it - tiny nick coming. Hit it with the alum and all good. Just wish the Pinaud's would "linger longer".

Sword: Schick L-Type
Suds: Gent's #3 / Omega S
Salve: Dickinson's Witch Hazel / Pinaud Eau de Portugal

Great shave. I'm working on putting a dent in my #3 but seeing as it's a 50/50 sodium/potassium blend, as opposed to pure KOH, it's going to take forever to finish! Luckily it's an awesome soap...

Lately I've been finishing up proceedings with a healthy splash of witch hazel which I let dry before going the usual aftershave splash. It's a minor, but significant, improvement to my shaves. My skin feels that little bit happier.

This is super generous of you - thank you so much! I am going out for dinner, but will certainly answer later at night!

Razor: Fatboy (2)
Blade: Feather (2)
Cream: ADP
Post: Proraso red

Well gents thought I'd drop in [emoji4] life's busy lately chasing the little one and as an accountant I have just gone through the busiest time of the year.

I believe I have found shaving nirvana in the Thater it's an awesome brush. The Proraso red pre/post is an amazing post shave cream. After putting it on my skin feels amazing and there is no sheen, residue. Really surprised when I first used it. Now I consider it a permanent stayer.

The 42 is great stuff and the Thater created a mound of amazing lather. I don't know why I thought bulbs didn't face lather well? This brush is incredible. Haven't used the slant in a while and it always takes a shave or 2 to find the angle, but I went gently and it gave a superb shave. First time using the Plastic Shave and I don't mind the scent, not my favourite, but it's ok. The face feel is spectacular though. Possibly my favourite of the excellent Myrsol line up.

@Psmith - I get you on the Plastic shave. Amazing feel. I also thought the scent to be only OK to begin with, but it has grown on me a little.
