First try of the Wolfman and this soap. Very smooth results. I thought the Wolfman would be mostly hype but the result after the first shave is very good.

Pre// La Toja Pre Shave Soap
Brush// Occam's SB
Razor//Blade// Progress,3.5,Feather Blade
Cream// Taylor of Old Bond St - Jermyn Street
Post// Taylor of Old Bond St - Jermyn Street Aftershave Cream
Aftershave// Taylor of Old Bond St - Jermyn Street Aftershave
Deorderant// Taylor of Old Bond St - Jermyn Street

Being a big fan of the traditional, British scents, soaps and creams I thought I would revisit one of my favourites. The cream like all the TOBS lathers effortlessly, overloading the brush and waste being the main concern, and it performs as expected however it is the scent that makes this one of my all time favourites.Without the aftershave however it is fleeting, even with the post shave cream or more accurately milk so the aftershave is a must for those that like the unique and very English scent of this classic. It is an alcohol free aftershave too, for those whose skin reacts and goes red and swollen from alcohol direct on the skin.

A usual 2 pass with superb glide and post shave feel. Despite the 'sensitive skin' designation of this TOBS product to be 100% truthful I find a lot of the artisan creams and soaps perform in a superior way in this regard as it pertains to cushion and protection - the Jermyn St however has the now famous scent. A fantastic Friday shave, always being that more rewarding knowing it is once step closer to the weekend.

Very classy shave mate. Takes me back to a very pleasant afternoon wanting around this area in London a couple of years ago, along Saville Row, around Regent Street, Picadilly, Old Bon Street, Burlington Arcade and of course Jermyn Street itself. The TOBs shop, on Jermyn Street not Old Bond St, was a highlight - so much in the one small space! Certainly a must do if in London :)

This morning I inished off the Spitfire sample @filobiblic gave me the other week. Still not keen on the scent, but it was the only soap I had in the shower. Only needed a quick 1.5 pass (1 pass S-N, then an XTG pass under the chin) .
Was looking forward to using one of my new menthol soaps, but it felt a little bit chilly at 17C this morning.

Preshave: Musgo Real Glyce soap and Proraso sandalwood preshave cream
Razor: Weber Polished Head on an Ikon handle
Blade: Vintage Polsilver(4)
Brush: Shavemac 177
Soap: Martin de Candre
Post Shave: Nivea Balm, Musgo Real Orange Amber splash and Armani eau de aromes EDT
Three pass shave and I have entered new territory with a blade. Never gone beyond three shave on a blade but the vintage Polsilver has made it to four and is as good as the first. The soap was superb, what a scent. Very comfortable and close shave. Finished with a splash of Musgo Real orange amber and a couple of squirts of the Armani to complement. Ready for lunch with some gentlemen friends.

+1 @Mark1966 I'm told I'm going back to West of London again very soon ;)

I first smelled it some years ago after a visit to TOBS and it has stuck with me ever since, although not a 'modern' or artisan scent of cream it is one I deeply enjoy.

I have a brother and family in the UK and as such I try and get back there at least once a year for a few weeks. That whole area you mention is one that holds a special place for me, the facades of the storefronts in particular and the smells that hit you when you enter the stores themselves with their full compliment. It also usually tends to my laying out a fair spread of pounds which as you know (and are no doubt familiar with) is even more aussie dollars. I like to enjoy at least 2 or 3 wet shaves in store given the time when I visit while on holidays, an experience I thoroughly recommend to anyone who has not already experienced it.

Razor: Rockwell 6S (5)
Blade: PSI (3)
Soap: B&M 42
Brush: Thater 4125/3 2 band bulb
A/S: Myrsol Plastic Shave

Loving this brush more and more. It has incredibly soft gel tips with significant backbone. I imagine it's what lathering with a gerbil would be like. I'll write a review this weekend.
