Brush: 10005
Razor: Slim
Blade: London Bridge
Soap: Cryogen
A/S: Speick / Floid vigoroso

Whoops cryogen is a soft soap! I discovered this after around 10-15 seconds of loading up like I do on a hard soap. Luckily the brush was fairly dry so I was able to wipe most of the soap back into the tub.
I still ended up with enough lather for a 3 pass shave, and a full body mentholated soap wash, and am now tingling in all sorts of places that don't normally tingle. That's going some since it's still 26 degrees.
I added some menthol crystals to my speick after shave but needed to judge how much, so one side of the face had floid and the other speick, Result? Both can have some more menthol in them.

Well after my excursion to the Supply razor - again thanks @alfredus I took out Ivan's younger brother Boris and and ran him over an oiled slate hone this afternoon.

Soap: A lovely tallow and shea butter recipe I made awhile ago.
Razor: Stolichnaya" Столичная 1966 - "Boris" 11/16"
Brush Large Turkish Horse/boar 32mm knot/75mm loft. Two wipes left and right and you are lathered up.

DFS+ No irritation and no cuts etc.

Finished with hot/cold face cloths then a few drops of Macadamia oil.

Pre: Myrsol Antesol
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac 2 Band
Soap: Tabula Rasa Cardamom
Razor: ATT S1
Blade: PSI
Post: alum, witch hazel, after balm, Havana Splash

Lather was more stable today, creamier and thicker than before, many thanks to @Psmith, @alfredus and @TomG for the tips. However, I think I have a heavier preference towards tallow soaps.

Shave was much better, left some slight irritation on the chin area.

Finished off with some sugar cane rum after splash.

Last night's shave
Pre: Musgo Real Glyce
Brush: Simpson Duke 2 Best
Soap: P&B Spitfire
Razor: R41 on iKon OSS handle
Blade: Permasharp (1)
Post: Myrsol Agua Balsamica

Once again the R41 gives me the closest shave in my arsenal. Spectacular. I know it's not for everyone, but for me it works well. The Permasharp is a great match and I may have to get a few 100. Any notable suppliers?

Preshave: Musgo Real Glyce soap and Proraso sandalwood preshave cream
Razor: Weber Polished head on an Ikon handle
Blade: Polsilver SI
Brush: Simpsons Commodore X2
Soap: Czech and Speake Oxford and Cambridge
Post Shave: Thayers Lemon Witch hazel and Gummy balm followed by Tom Ford Extreme Noir EDP
Three pass shave of extreme comfort and enjoyment. Following @Lifes a Peach tips on the Czeck & Speake soap I bloomed it and used the Simpsons brush. What a wondrous soap. Beautiful and rich with thick creamy peaks and a slickness not many soaps can reach. Lavender scent that is subtle and the post shave is excellent. Face is soft and smooth. Now for lunch. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Pre: Occam's Original
Brush:CH1
Razor:Progress,2.5,Feather
Soap:Shaver Heaven - Vanilla Oak
Post:After Balm
Scent: Beaver Woodwright Captain Scurvey

A usual 2 pass this morning at a very relaxed place. A pleasing lather from the Vanilla Oak, plenty of cushion and glide from the soap without any doubt. The first outing of "Captain Scurvey" this morning after a liberal application of After Balm. The Woodwright' is a nice combination of Vanilla, Sandalwood and Lime and paired well with the Vanilla Oak Soap however it is not a scent I don't think that will last into the day, rather I see it fading after an hour or three.

Cold water shave
Brush: cheap synth
Soap: Shaver Heaven Vetiver & Neroli (blue tub)
Face lather
Blade: George Butler 6/8 Keen

Enjoyed yesterday's "redemption" shave sooooo much I went for the same setup bar the brush. Hey; variety is the spice ... ... ... Another close and smooth shave. Been to church, had lunch and sitting her 5 hours later smiling at how smooth my face still feels and I had to share this shave with somebody. The blokes I hang with have an admiration for my use of straights but think I'm a "nutter". Most seem to sport a permanent 3 day growth. It may be trendy (so I'm told) but it is not really the look I gel with. Be clean shaven or grow a beard (long or short just keep it neat and shaped).

Pre: Face wash
Soap: Mickey Lee's 'Colonia di Argumi'
Brush: Simpson's Chubby 2 'Pure'
Razor: Fridour Inox 6/8
Post: Alum, Thayers, Chatillon Lux 'Bon Vivant'

First try with the Mickey Lee's soap today, didn't quite get a decent lather from it (user error). But from the lather I had it was pretty damn good, very slick and just enough cushion. Now the scent is amazing as well, they say it is an ode to the famous Italian colonia cologne; A wonderful blend of bergamot, lavender, cedar and patchouli that creates a spring-like scent evocative of bright Italian days, and that's exactly what I got, a clean, fresh, cologne based scent (y).
Now the razor was great like always, singing away while it mowed through nearly a weeks growth, did have a bit of irritation on the neck though afterwards; that was pretty much healed up from the great post shave contenders today. The usual alum and thayers worked well like usual, then it was onto the other new product today, the Chatillon Lux 'Bon Vivant' aftershave balm. Thanks to @todras for writing a great review about these balms and enabling me to get one ;). The performance of it is awesome; not greasy, very moisturizing and the scent is great as well, what I can make from it is kind of a creamy whisky with hints of citrus, another big thumbs up (y) .

Enjoy your shaves gents.

Sunday afternoon shave with self made evoo, salt, tea leaves and coconut face scrub as prep
Usual razor but tried the Sputnik for the first time today and i did like it alot. Very nice blade, sharp but very forgiving and gave a bbs shave with a WTG, XTG and ATG (not on my neck but)

Washpool Farm Bergamont, Patchouli and Cedarwood soap with my new omega 10005 boar hair are a match to be rivalled. Still falling more in love with this scent definately one to try if you havent.

Finished off alum bar and Nivea 0% alcohol AS balm.

Not a bad shave, not a good shave but there is always tomorrow. Blade was certainly shave ready but for some reason it wasn't the most comfortable shave. Harsh [ish] I would say. I have the mildest irritation which I haven't had for ages. All down to my technique but everything seemed the same.

Anyway everything as per last night. Might be a good reason to break out a GEM for a couple of nights.

Pre: Pears transparent soap
Razor: Gillette Open Comb
Blade: GSB (1)
Brush: Simpson Duke 2 "Pure"
Lather: Arko stick, Edwin Jagger Aloe Vera cream, Glycerine
After: Alum, Myrsol Formula "C", Natio after shave balm

After giving the Gillette the once over this afternoon with dishwashing liquid, bi-carb soda and toothpaste she came up looking fantastic. (y)
Still got some brassing - never going to fix that myself, but it is not anywhere near as evident anymore - and she shines nicely now too as an added bonus!:D
Anyway, I was partially inspired by the posts from the Melbourne meetup that some Arko sticks may have been dispersed amongst the crowd.
Thought I would pay my respects and give it a leg up tonight. Decided that I would give an "Uber" lather a go at the same time.
So with a bit of EJ cream from a sample at the last meet, and a couple of drops of glycerine I picked up after talking to @bald as about soap making a while back I whipped up a brilliant lather that was actually quite subtly scented. (y)
The uber lather gave me a lot of cushion and glide, offering up a good deal of protection.
Finally I think that I have paired up a good matched blade for this razor. Although they were battling 2 ½ days growth the razor and blade coped very well.
Performed two passes WTG, XTG and had a DFS already. Filled with confidence, I lathered up once more and went completely against the grain...
With a small amount of touch ups after the final pass, I've given myself a comfortable BBS shave from this razor.
Needless to say, I'm fairly pleased! Maybe this razor will become a favourite after all. :cautious:
Just goes to prove further @Mark1966 theory that blades and razors work together in different combinations - what works in one won't necessarily work in another... :)
Now to improve that technique further still... :barefoot:

I spy some non-Mastro Livi gear there. I'm afraid you are going to have to up your game razorguy.
It seems to work out a little expensive having him as a friend.

Pre: Myrsol Antesol
Brush: Wolfwhiskers Ubersoft II
Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore
Razor: ATT S1
Blade: GSB
Post: alum, witch hazel, TSW After balm, Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore

Back to load hydrate technique. Beautiful lather today. Although I think it can take in a bit more water. Scent is as usual, amazing. Sweet Tuscan tobacco cologne apparently. I really like it, hints of eucalyptus, green tobacco, hint of sweetness. Not usually a fan of sweet scents, but this is amazing.

Razor is pretty forgiving with blade pairing. The GSB did reasonably well in this razor. Not as sharp as my favourite PSI and Feather, but I do have about 100 of these. Might as well use them up.

After a long period of being out of stock, the matching aftershave for the Santa Maria del Fiore is now available. Lovely aftershave. Scent has decent longevity as well. I'd say it lingers around for a couple of hours.

A shave for me is my daily ritual to wrap up my day. I perform it at the end of the day, after a long day. Be it a good or bad day, I would still look forward to my shave. Today I get to meet some of the finest forum members here in P&C in the flesh. I had a great time today and I look forward to the next one. Thanks @Lifes a Peach for organising.

Pre: La Toja Soap, Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Cream: Musgo Real Spiced Citrus
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: PSI (1)
Post: Myrsol Antesol and Emulsion
Cologne: Musgo Real Spiced Citrus

I am more of a soap guy, but I had been meaning to try this cream for a while. There it was, an unopened tube lurking at the back of the cupboard. It proved to be the best cream I have used to date.
The performance was very good - creamy lather with very good cushion and glide. Not quite as good as my favourite soaps, but damn close.
Also, unlike some other creams I have used, the lather did not show any sign of dissipation on the third pass and clean-up. A nice post shave feel has me looking at this product very favourably.
Very close 3 pass shave, with no irritation and one small weeper on the upper neck.
A quick check of the cream's ingredients gave some clues to the performance. The saponified fats are palm and coconut oil, after which things get pretty interesting. This product also contains glycerin, lanolin, witch hazel and jojoba seed oil.
As I had opened a matching body soap bar, it was a no-brainer to finish with the Spiced Citrus cologne. I think this cologne is seriously underrated. It is old school with a modern twist -fresh, spicy and invigorating.
