Pre: La Toja
Brus: Dovo Solingen
Razor: Progress,3.5,Feather
Cream: St James of London Bergamot & Sandalwood
Post: St James of London Bergamot & Sandalwood Post Shave Gel

A nice way to start the working week, the dominance of the bergamot coming through in the cream and the superb cushion and post shave feel of the SJOL is always something to look forward to.

Mark's Myrsol and Mike's Madness - Day One

Razor: Fine Accoutrements Slant Razor
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum 'Black' [India] (1)
Brush: Vintage butterscotch Simpson
Soap/Cream: Mike's Natural Shaving Soaps - Barbershop
Aftershave: Myrsol F Extra

Since I have the Travelling Fine Slant thanks to @DrBob to try this week I wanted to get a little stability in my life after the recent soaps trials - but I also wanted to celebrate the arrive of my seventh Myrsol so - Mark's Myrsol and Mike's Madness - was born!

A week with just Mike's soap but a selection of Myrsol from my now seven-day set :)

So through the week the razor, blade and soap will remain the same - the only variation will be in the aftershave and brush - included below for completeness (and for those who like butterscotch).

The Fine Slant looks and feels like a toy - but it does the job. Great lather from Mike's and nice finish with the Myrsol.

Have a great week people!

Preshave: Musgo Real Glyce soap and Proraso sandalwood preshave cream
Razor: Weber Polished Head and ikon handle
Blade: Vintage Polsilver(5)
Brush: Maggard's Synthetic
Post Shave: Natio Balm and TOBS Sandalwood AS
Three pass shave of comfort. The scent of the Proraso sandalwood is a very earthy, manly scent which I like very much. The TOBS is a sweeter scent but I also like it, so best of both worlds. Performance of the Proraso is good for a mass produced product. Five shaves on one blade is amazing and the blade still shows no signs of giving up.

That's a cracking lineup of brush's right there, enjoy your week mate!

I like the one on the far left and the one next to it in addition to the second from the far right.

Pre-Shave: Cypriotian Olive/Argan Oil soap, cold water
Razor: Weber PH UFO Titan L
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Brush: Stirling Kong
Lather: Mystic Water Jeff's Lavender
Post-shave: Alum, Barrister & Man Kyovu Original, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Some time constraints today, so got out the synthetic. Lather was actually quiet nice (picture here), but didn't save much time :D

Hope you have a great start into the new week (y)

Pre-Shave: Shower
Razor: Maggard Razors MR1 with V2 Open Comb
Blade: Personna Lab Blue
Soap/Cream: Through the Fire Fine Craft - Ignite
Brush: Mühle Silvertip Fibre V2.0 Shaving Brush
A/S: Nivea Men Original After Shave Splash
Post-Routine: hot rinse, alum, cold rinse, splash

I made this photo right before shaving, but when I was about picking up the razor my hand faltered and I took Maggard Razors MR1 with V2 Open Comb with Personna Lab Blue blade. No regrets at all - BBS :) The soap is great. Very pleasant smell, quite easy to lather even from a sample container. Lather was very slick. I'll definitely buy more of this soap.

Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore

Back to load hydrate technique. Beautiful lather today. Although I think it can take in a bit more water. Scent is as usual, amazing. Sweet Tuscan tobacco cologne apparently. I really like it, hints of eucalyptus, green tobacco, hint of sweetness. Not usually a fan of sweet scents, but this is amazing.

I agree: Fantastic soap. [emoji106]

Brush: Chubby 2 Manchurian
Razor: Schick Krona
Blade: Vintage Schick
Soap: P&B Spitfire
A/S: Pashana Original

First time using a Schick Krona, great little razor. Very mild but superbly efficient. Pretty certain it's a keeper.

Great shave. I like the Schick Krona. It makes an excellent first razor. I'd be inclined to start my son on it in good time...

Shave: usual ingredients plus SH Lilith sample.
The first SH tallow soap I have tried I think. Works well, as we have all come to expect of @Anthony's soaps.
It's been over 30 years since I ate one, but the scent reminded me of a UK lolly, parma violets.

Brush: - Simpson PJ2 Super
Soap: - Mike's Cedar, Orange, Black Pepper
Razor: - Gillette Slim (7)
Blade: -Voskhod (1)
Post Shave: - Myrsol Antesol

Lather shot here
Great shave. The Mike's was so shiny I was almost blinded. The jury's still out on the Voskhods. I think my face likes a sharper blade.
